I don't want to entertain it. I like both, Usyk a bit more.

    I think both can win.

    That's all.

But Usyk crushes Drozd and Bellew. I hope he crushes both next time around

I'd love USYK to crush Bellew into smithereens!

It's not fair on Usyk after just one meaningful fight as he's adapting some crucial elements of his game to the paid ranks.
Holyfield at Cruiser is around the 15th best of all time. Revisit this question in around 3 years.

Usyk would clearly struggle with Holyfield and Qawi more than he did Glowacki, who it could argued he beat 12-0, but his footwork, stamina, defense, speed, angles and combinations would ultimately prove to be too much for them. I'm not a nostalgist, I don't look at the past with rose colored glasses on and reflexively say the old timers beat anyone new, never have never will, and I grew up watching Holyfield, I'm a big fan, but I think Usyk is as special talent and he proved it the other day. Not saying Glowacki is an ATG here, but was coming off of a KO win against Huck, not quite shot to hell version of Leon Spinks we're talking about here. And not only did Usyk beat him, he did it without breaking a sweat.

nope. holyfield proved he could punch with superheavyweights.. every time. boxing? no problem there either. usyk has a long way to go. maybe he will fight joshua in 3 or 5 years.. maybe he won't.. we'll see.

other than qawi (their first fight.. holyield's 12th pro fight.. rematch, of course, holyfield knocked him out of the ring), who even went the distance with holyfield at cruiserweight?

I see revisionist history starts very quickly with some. **** comparison since Usyk hasn't even become undisputed yet. He doesn't compare in any way shape or form to ATG Holyfield. Usyk Glowacki wasn't easy for Usyk. If it was that easy he should've finished Glowacki off when he had the chance.

Oh god, you hit the nail on the head. If we could have signatures I'd put that up as my new ESB mantra.

Also, Holyfield is the consensus greatest Cruiserweight of all time... Where would you honestly rate Usyk there?

Yes, I'm aware of styles making fights but regardless of how good Usyk might be he isn't a proven commodity on the level of Holyfield.

I don't think Usyk beats Qawi at this point to be honest. Not many people here have watched enough of Qawi to know what an iron chinned animal he was.

Sadistic in the ring, would beat the **** out of you while sticking his tongue out as you punched him in return. Borderline sociopath but a great fighter. Not many could stand up to the pressure he could bring in there.

Yeah they like that dynamic within the boxing community and don't like it when it's flipped back onto their fighters. I have been saying American fans are ****, yet another example.

I'm the only person trying to actually talk boxing, even though there are complaints that no one will talk about boxing. :buitre:

Usyk looks like the truth but you can't possibly throw him in against a prime Holyfield.

Usyk did a good job dealing with pressure in his last fight but against the greatest Cruiserweight ever? Who applied non-stop pressure, had very good punching power and an iron chin? Come on.

I rate Usyk highly and maybe we'll talk about him in this regard one day but let's calm down
