Holyfield and Bowe still argue about that 10th round

Both truly special fighters.

They would have cleaned up today's HW division personally in their primes. Usyk is great but Bowe and Holyfield is a sharp step above the likes of AJ, Dubois and Fury.

 

I think Bowe could’ve held on another 10 seconds, but Holyfield was landing clean, but Bowe wasn’t against the ropes, looking like he could go at any second or anything.

 

That fight is so ****ing awesome. Time to give it another of many many watches, I think.

 

Talk about one guy who stopped going to the gym and one who didn't....

I have seen the full footage of this interview with them before. There's plenty of good natured ribbing of each other in it. It's worth a watch. Bowe is difficult to understand at points, but when you figure out what he's saying, he does make complete sense. Seems the part of the brain that controls speech is the part of his noggin that got messed up the most.

 

This is another of those "they could both live to be 100 and neither will be willing to budge on this and let it go", like Ali-Frazier and Barrera-Morales.

 

They seem to be fine with each other personally. Joe Frazier was very much not fine with Ali.
