Total and complete misrepresentation of what actually occurred in the fight. I'm not surprised considering it's you and a Tyson thread. He 1000% deserved to be disqualified in the first fight. I was atrocious that he wasn't, and Razor wasn't even responding in kind that you could say it was "both parties fouling". It wasn't. It was mostly all Tyson. Are you really equating range finding with low blows? Really? lol

Go read my posts again, i said he was on the way to deserving a DQ the first fight. He had 0 respect for richard steele. And was butting with his shoulder and looking straight at steele, basically questioning his authority.

    But in the REMATCH
Extending your arm out is illegal, so is holding behind the neck, razor ruddock was also retaliating with his own low blows, punches after the bell and wearing his shprts to his nipples. I equate ALL OF THAT to not justify a DQ in the ruddock rematch especially considering ruddock did not seem upset at all after the fight. Go watch the post fight interview.

I dont have a bias, Holyfield amd Tyson are both in my top 5 favorite fighters of all time.
I also stated that most of what Holyfield did including the PEDs that he is being singled out for on this forum, even though he clearly wasnt the only one and Tyson looks just as juiced up as Holyfield in the Bite fight, is fair game in Pro Boxing.

You need to worknon your reading comprehension

That's my problem here... "on the way to a DQ" WTF. He wasn't on his way to, and I know it's hard for you to say this, but, he SHOULD'VE been DQ'd in that fight. It was preposterous that he wasn't. You saying he was on his way to say it all.

Well the fight was stopped before it got that far. The first fight was just 6 rounds and change. If it had gone on for 8+ rounds i would agree he should have been thrown out but Andrew golota for example was only DQd after 9 rounds or so.

Again, ive defended Holyfield and other fighters in this thread for not just fouls but even PED abuse, so i dont know what bias youre trying to accuse me of. Its not ballet, the other guy doesnt have a magic micro chip in his brain that prevents him from retaliating if the other guy is somehow getting an unfair advantage.

The only thing i have a problem with is corruption, and a rigged system.
Thats why i also said that richard steele did a **** poor job and tyson was disrespecting him and making it obvious that he knew that steele wasnt going to penalize him.

NOT the case with mills lane who later proved that he is no tyson stooge and will throw tyson out if he thinks its appropriate.

Ali never fouled like that? Wrong, he clinched more often than Wlad did. And why couldn't Ali foul like that if he tired? Please explain

Oh so now he was trying to snap a guys spinal cord??? Dino, get some help fast!

Rematch clauses are used often. Wlad wasn't unique here, and I believe would have re-matched Fury if he didn't eat himself out of shape and check in to the nut house.

Povektin was floored three times, and lost nearly ever round... in his own backyard in front of Putin, who was fond of him. Povetkin knew he was beaten and didn't protest much.

You continue to add new layers to the cartoon like character you have become here. We get it you don't like Wlad. Like I said before your posts have the opposite effect of your intensions as they lower the average of more educated Wlad haters who sometimes might have legitimate points.

We're not talking Ali , we're talking Wlad. Typical defection tactic but unfortunately it don't absolve Wlad of his own cheating.

For starters look at who Ali clinched - Frazier and Foreman .. Two of the most savage come forward pressure fighters at HW of all time.
Wlad held David freaking Haye , a CW who fights off the back foot.. The back foot i said! And he doesn't hold like regular guys either , he hoists himself up in his tippy toes in order to apply maximum pressure down on their backs and spinal's.

Ali used clinch as a defensive tactic against HWs ranked on the top 10 ATG list. Wlad used bear hugging as both defensive and offensive tactic against ham n eggers because he hadn't the skill to beat them fairly.

Ali wouldn't need any Clinch to beat a club level guy like Jennings. Wlad held so much against Jennings he got a point deducted so there goes your silly Ali comparison/get-out tactic down the flusher.

Rematches are not obligatory in mandatory defenses but Wlad illegally forced guys into them. He made Haye sign a contract that stipulated he'd have to rematch both brothers before he'd ever walk away with the belts.

Two negatives. . Wlad only dropped Povetkin once. The other times he was thrown to the ground by the neck and Putin never turned up to the match. He knew Povetkin was sold out. Wlad got all his demands and Pabon allowing him to foul to his hearts content was one of them.
That whole debacle was as much of a black eye to boxing as was Holyfield getting his ear bitten off. A showing of pure corruption and lowly unsportsmanlike conduct with Wlad and Burnd Bounter at the center of it all.
Did you know it was so horrific it caused spectators to keel over and another one tragically croaked?

Shame on you for defending this cheat!!

    Dino,

Wlad only dropped Povektin once? Try 3 times. For a guy who blasts Wald for not re-matching Sanders, I find you full of double standards now saying Wald's re-match clause in some matches wasn't fair. What's next?

I find it odd how he wasn't able to really implement anything fight altering/winning in just about all of his losses to legitimate super heavyweights. Bowe 2x, Lewis 2x, even Valuev... He was able to successfully foul the smaller fighters however... Tyson, Dokes, Rahman.

In his second fight against Lewis he should really have thrown plenty of low blows against him. It would have drawn attention to the fact that Lewis had his shorts and protective cup so high it was practically up to his chest. Holyfield said after that fight that his plan was to attack Lewis’ body but couldn’t because Lewis had his shorts/cup so high.
