Can you imagine Kinshasha Ali in the ring with Holyfied-Foreman. He would have lumped him up worse than Alex Stewart did.

No. Foreman lost a tremendous amount of speed 1974 to 1991. He was a young prime very fast starting heavyweight champion. This was the fighter who Ali exclaimed that his speed surprised him. Prime Foreman circa 1973-1974 was a wrecking ball of a fighter with a pole like jab. The watered down version that Clancy trained and the old watered down version of 1991 were lesser fighters.

As far as I know, Foreman said about the fight with Ali: "It was the stupidest fight of my career".
This then means that Ali defeated a weaker version of Foreman, rather than the versions of Foreman that fought Frazier 1 and Norton.
In that case, I believe that Holyfield beat a better version of Foreman than Ali.
Of course, my entire post is based on the truth or falsity of the statement: "That was the stupidest fight of my career".

I'm referring to Lewis, Bowe, Moorer, Tyson and George whenever I use this talking point.

Bob Dylan on where he was at as a songwriter maybe ten years ago, compared to the sixties and seventies, something like: I can't do what I did then. I can do some other things that I couldn't do then.

The Foreman Ali beat was an undefeated, prime fighter who was on a rampage stopping Chuvalo, Peralta, Frazier, and Norton. He had a strong jab, vicious body shots, devastating uppercuts, was good at parrying, cutting off the ring, and was one of the best finishers of all time with a bloodlust rarely seen.

The Foreman Holyfield beat was powerful, but extremely slow. He had a strong guard, but had trouble dealing with combinations and movement. His best wins were an old Cooney, a drug indulging Cooper, and fringe ranked Rodrigues. His jab was more consistent and improved over the 70's and he paced himself better for endurance, but I fail to see how he was better in his resume or his boxing ability.

    There's no comparison.

quite possible, given the circumstances. Let's remember that in Kinshasa, Foreman fought with rust, too little experience for such a fight, and with terrible tactics. Of course, the young Foreman would have fared better with Axel Shulz, Alex Stewart or Tommy Morrison, but we probably had the worst "young" Foreman in Kinshasa

Yes, a younger Foreman might catch Morrison with something, but at the same time Morrison could win an exchange, all he needs is one clean power left hook.

Considering what Foreman survived against Lyle, I highly doubt one shot from Morrison would put him away.
