The Heavyweights are very often what attracts mainstream sports fans, and although there are far better fighters at lower weights, the Heavies will always get more than their fair share of attention.

If you do not like it, then I suggest you do not add to the thread count, and do not comment.

Boxing has had far too many tragedies in its history without so called fans wishing such things.

Of course im rooting for Holyfield cause hes a living legend and ATG. But i wish he beats Ibragimov and retires, i doubt he will beat the other champs too. I wish he retires with a win.

Ibragimov is a mediocre fighter in a mediocre division, Holyfield is one of the all-time greats in two divisions. I hope Holyfield rips him a new one then retires with the belt :bbb He wants undisputed but as much of a Evander fan I am he loses to Klit, Chag and Peter. I feel he could beat Maskaev, but after Peter I doubt Oleg will have a belt.

The same drive that made Holyfield win against the odds, many a time in the 80s and 90s, now drives him in his futile attempts to be the best Heavyweight today.

I got a feeling like a Duran, everyone will just have to forget that the final decade of Holyfield's career happened, because I reckon he is not going to call it a day this side of his 50th...

Evander has accomplished plenty, he doesn't need this. I'm pulling for the young dog to bag a high-profile trophy.

holy field of course, id like to see him win and retire.he can for get about that undisputed ****.just get a blet and be glad you did that.cause with the klit brothers and peter around, man he will get demolished or hurt bad.

if he does fight a klit brother or peter i hope they have steele in the ring as ref, he will stop in heart beat even if it looks like he is on ***** st.holy might not like that but it will be his safe bet i think.

Neither fighter are good enough to hold a title, and neither fighter will hold one for very long...However, I would prefer Sultan to win because he is the younger fighter and Holyfield needs to retire with his health in tact.

Iggy should win despite my irrational hatred for southpaws.

I can't root for anyone trained by Panama Lewis. I'll root for Holyfield.

I'm a fan of Ibragimov. When he's aggressive, he's fun to watch and has a unique set of skills for a heavyweight, i.e., great speed, southpawn awkwardness, high workrate.

Holyfield, on the other hand, gave us many great moments, but should have retired sometime around 1997 and certainly doesn't desever a title shot.

Therefore, I refuse to bow to nostalgic drivel, and I'll root for Ibragimov to win, which he will.

Ok, how about Jeff Mayweather then?

Are you denying, that Ibragimov has had Panama Lewis as his trainer? I don't care who he has now.
