I think it was more shock than the actual pain. No-one expected that.

No-one except Teddy Atlas. Which makes the night even more bizarre!

 

I remember before the rematch taking place, Teddy Atlas calling it.

Atlas actually said, "If its the same game Holyfield who shows up, because he's been inconsistent the last couple of years, but if thats anywhere near the same Holyfield that beat Mike Tyson, mark my words, Tyson is going to find a way to disqualify himself."

Atlas is now known for his bad picks, but knowing the character of Mike Tyson, he nailed that one dead on.

 

Holyfield did butt a lot, and should've been pulled up for it. But Tyson's retaliation was a disgrace. The man is a headcase.
