Holyfield is an ATG, pure and simple. The best HW since Holmes. Tyson fans and others trying to denigrate his accomplishments over-exaggerate his use of headbuts.

OOOHH!! That's heavy, Zak............. Holy is indeed a great fighter, but his use of the skull is pretty damn obvious to the onlooker watching him fight...... I just reviewed "Holy-Holmes" last night and Holy was coming in with his head down and tilted.... Holy is a headbutter........

Lewis beat a prime holyfield around like a ***** two times. Lewis is a better heavyweight than holyfield

when they fought holyfield was in the wrong side of the hill

look at his fight against vaughn bean, he was not the same holy of the tyson-moorer fights

there's no way you mean that. :verysad

but just in case: 1)lewis BARELY scrapped by in the rematch, he didn't beat anyone like a ***** 2)holyfield was maybe a 6/10 at best in that first fight, probably less. waaaaaaaaay past prime

lewis outclassed him by a long long way, even if holyfield was a bit quicker or stronger he would have lost.

lewis out landed holyfield by 3 times in the first fight and almost the same amount in the 2nd. he was just too good for holyfield

no way was he 6/10. thats just excuses people make for his loss to lewis. i understand you are a holyfield fan but lewis totally destroyed him

he even had to fight against the anti english judges.

look i aint a fan of either, i will be honest with you, i hate the heavyweight divison. i think its the most boring and talentless division in boxing but lewis was just too good for holyfield.

"Lewis-Holy 1" was not even close........ Lewis clearly won, but he got shafted with a Draw.......

"Lewis-Holy 2" stunk like a stale fart in an elevator....... Dull....... But I still gave Lewis the nod after 12 rds of jacking-off....... Lewis fought safely and Holy failed to let his hands go enough........... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!

Your ****ing ******ed, Evander was on the downside since the rematch with Moorer in that fight you could see Evander slipped a bit, the Bean fight only confirmed that idea the first Lewis bout proved he was on the other side of the hill.
But not bad for being a man past his prime he arguably beat Lewis in the rematch I know I had him winning.
A prime Holyfield vs a Prime Lewis, Holyfield beats his ass all day long..

The only people that cry about Evanders head, are Tyson fans, not fans but more or less the nuthuggers who still to this day beleive that Tyson would beat Ali if they fought...:-(

we'll just have to disagree. i feel he was on the slide in the tyson fights. great performances but he wasn't the same holy that went to war with bert cooper, outboxed holmes and foreman, stunned bowe in the rematch or obliterated douglas. lewis dominated the first fight: no question. the second fight less so

i can't blame you for not digging the heavies. Since the mid 90s, it's pretty much sucked

F.F.Sakes........ Holy was thought to be shot going into his '96 title try against Tyson, but he proved us wrong.......... HOWEVER! In my book, Holy's last great showing as a real great fighter was his KO over Moorer in 1997 on PPV.... Holy has never been the same after 1997....... So therefore, in a sense, yes, Holy was past his best when he fought Lenny Lewis 2X in 1999........
