    WBO wasn't a major world title at the time. If we're counting that belt, the last undisputed champion before Usyk was Mike Tyson. I agree on the Wlad part tho. He was practically undisputed, holding 3 out of 4 alphabet titles, The Ring Magazine belt, being recognized as the true champ by TBRB and having solidified himself as the new lineal champion. WBC was vacant so there was nobody around to dispute his claim. He even was introduced in the ring as the undisputed champ. The public perception tho is that, there was Lennox and then Usyk.

    In the US mostly, as most boxing narrative are driven by US. You're the first guy I encountered who also thinks Wlad was undisputed.

    Interesting point about Wlad. I guess if no one has the belt that you are lacking, then you are technically undisputed.
