... got exposed for using steroids. You figure it would be talked about and Lewis - Lennox - not Len, would be slandered.

Yet people ignore circumstantial evidence pointing toward Holyfield beating a "cheat"

But hey, you are not all the same, so what is up? Do we care about using PEDs or what? Seems like some days it is worse than others.

    Discuss and be civil.

True Jazzo, but I love the fact Lewis beat a PED user TWICE.

King disgraced himself in a new way.

"If you have your man hurt you finish him, you don't play chess with him".

Tell that to ATGs, and start with Lewis.

Indeed, Lewis put on a masterclass in the first and beat a very game Holyfield in the second fight.

Boy, I should watch the second fight again. Props to Holy. He made it decent.

But, and this is for the general forum regulars, do not assume that things are black and white.

Just because I said a nice thing about Lewis does not mean I wish Holyfield a painful death.

You know how it would go down.
"Lewis is a disgrace", "Lewis is a fraud", "The results of those fights should be reversed" etc etc

But this is Evander we're talking about, a nice guy and an American so he gets a free pass.

I move my top 15 ATG list around alot and as time goes on Holyfield drops down because I know that without the PEDs he wouldn't have achieved jack **** at HW.

i think most boxers are on some kind of peds,so i personally don't care about that.it helps you to train harder and recover quickly.it ain't gonna teach you how to box or fight.
look at pudzianowski,he's been on peds some serious time, and yet he got schooled by that fat slob sylvia because he doesn't know how to fight

Whole ESB would be defending Lewis and slamming those who accuse him of ever using anything. Most of the people here are claiming that he had an iron chin, he was a grat commentator, and he would get a pass for using steroids as well.

Jazz, you're on this real Holyfieldarific kick. I'm starting to become afraid you're off the Valuev bandwagon...:-(

    Not at ll.

    Holyfield went 2 with Valeuv.

    That alone proves ATG status.

It may increase a fighter's chin, recovery in the ring, recovery in training, power punching, upper and lower body strength and mood (the psychological part of the equation being helped, thus).

So, in a way they can make a fighter.

yes that's right, but i think on the elite level everyone or at least most of them are on peds

it definetly has benefits, such as quick recovery and to train harder.
chin is mostly genetics, upper and lower strength are benefits od weight training.

Weight training is enhanced by PEDs...

As for chin, we can only guess, but it stands to reason that there is a possibility that certain roids give you a better "chin".

Lewis beat Holyfield just like Bowe did. Bowe-Lewis would have been great. Too bad Golota retired Bowe, and then froze up against Lewis. :patsch
