    How was holmes shot when he fought tyson? 4 years later he beat Mercer and gave a prime Holyfield all he could handle.

    The K brothers won their first belts in 99 and 00.
    Holyfield was 37 then and just lost to Lewis and had that ugly trilogy with Ruiz.
    Tyson was in the twilight of his career after losses to Holyfield in 97 and then the beatdown at the hands of Lennox in 04. (they could have fought a washed up Tyson in that time frame)
    Foreman retired in 97

    Once he got back into the game he was a borderline top 10 hw, but he was beat all the time and clearly not what he was. Certainly his performances were no better than Holyfield nearly (arguably) beating Valuev.

    Thanks for proving my point, you're showing that if the K's had taken on an easy win against old Holyfield, they would have put to bed the biggest argument against them.

    How could you come up with that idiotic conclusion? Vitali fought one (1) ATG in his career, Lennox Lewis, and we all know what happened in round 6.

    What I actually said was Brigg's resume is better than Vlad's. Neither Briggs or Vlad are ATGs. They are both very far from it.
    However, Briggs has been in the ring with multiple ATGs while Vlad has never been in the ring with one.

    Vitali: Long reign as champ, beating a ton of top 20 hws but no ATG

    Yep, and Vitali was definitely the better of the two sisters.
    Vlad wouldn't stand a chance of lasting 6 rounds with Lewis.
    Come round 4 the stretcher crew would be rolling Vlad onto the tarp and HBO would be doing Lewis's post fight interview..
