Holyfield evolved past Joe Louis much like Valuev evolved past Holyfield.

As much as I admire Holy's ATGness, especially when in his own prime against SNV, it's all true. A faded Bert Cooper severely damaged Holy's mind. That's probably why he was crazy enough to stick his ear in Tyson's mouth and then fight SNV.

 

Holyfield is ATG but on this list Jou Louis is higher and maybe number 1.He was in his prime beast.His knockouts were brutal.And about Jesse Owens:famous for his 1936 Berlin Olympic Games heroics when he captured 4 gold medals but his career was cruelly cut short by American athletics officials on his return home who did not want a black man to profit from athletics related sponsors. He was never again allowed to compete so we can only speculate to what time he could have achieved.His time on Olimpic games 1936 was 10.3 on 100m without good shoes for sprint,on the bad athletic track and most important without steroids.Joe Louis was not slow he was very fast,explosive and had hardest punches on short distance which only Mike Tyson can compared.I didn't expected this for Holyfield,maybe from Ali,but not from Holyfield.
