    I was being scarcastic obviously. Just the other day, I was accused of being a GGG hater by some idiot just because I defended Ward.

    That's not entirely true. Hopkins was able to figure out Kovalev, IMO. He just wasn't able to capitalize offensively when he made Kovalev miss - which is what Kovalev spent most of the night doing. Had Hopkins been 15 years younger, he would have outboxed Kovalev, IMO...

    Inactivity has to count when making rankings, sure Ward has had good opponents in the past, but they were years ago, nobody knows what level he is at the moment

    You mean running away and avoiding confrontation?

    And the tooth fairy exists.

    Ward has easy wins over the two guys who beat the top two guys on Kovalev's resume. Ward will NOT be an easy task for Kovalev. To suggest so only proves that YDKSAB.

    You mean Holyfield is a joke. I just quoted him. Besides, GGG is in top 5 of ALL RECOGNIZED p4p lists. MVC saying that Golovkin is not in top 30 made him a joke.

    You are talking about Ward from 2011. That guy is long gone. Current Ward will be smashed.

    I hate the way you refer to Golovkin in such an immature way (Bumlovkin) and the general hatred you spew in his direction but I too believe Hopkins (circa 2006) beats Kovalev.

    How about some intellectual honesty?

    I remember Jermain Taylor's run as middleweight champ, from his HBO build up, to his first win over Hopkins to his KO loss to Kelly Pavlik. I watched the whole sequence of events as they unfolded. Taylor's nickname was "Bad Intentions." Well, sometime during his reign as middleweight champion, a certain crowd of boxing fans began to refer to him as Jermain "Bad Decisions" Taylor. And yeah, I think Taylor was the beneficiary of a few gift decisions in the biggest fights of his middleweight run, Hopkins I and Wright just to name a few. So, does calling Jermain Taylor "Bad Decisions" mean that you hate the guy? NO. It's just a realization of the truth - which is Taylor got a few gifts in big fights during his run @ 160.

    Now, lets shift gears and go back to Golovkin. When I use the term "Bumlovkin" I use it the same way the term "Bad Decisions" is used for Jermain Taylor. It is simply a realization of the truth - which is that Golovkin has fought nobody but TOMATO CANs. Do I hate the guy? NO. I just don't buy into all the HYPE and I realize that this guy has NOT earned all the accolades he's received by way of beating a suitable level of opposition. That's why I always ask the question;

    Exactly WHO has the Triple Duck beaten?

    So far, nobody has been able to answer that question without reading from a grocery list.

    Hmmm. Cept 'Bad Decisions' is actually amusing and names like 'Sad Chad' and 'SoB' at least make sense in terms of the respective ring monikers.

    'Bumlovkin' is merely stupid, but I suppose 'triple duck' would show a faint flicker of creativity if Golovkin could be reasonably argued to have ducked (or been ducked by) 3 significant opponents. 'Lil G' I actually quite like, and kinda rhymes with 'triple G' but Andre had already used 'Lil Floyd' so loses points for recycling.

    Oh. And if Golovkin ever gets injured or becomes shot towards the end of his career we can roll out the 'Cripple G' moniker too!:deal
