I'd remove Floyd, Ward and Froch but rest is %100 true. How can someone be shameless enough to accuse him of "being handed out his belt" when they damn well know that the only reason for it is because Sturm and Geale preferred to lost the belt rather than facing him is beyond me.

its fine if you watch golovkin fight and think "man this guy is good..he might be the best...best combination boxer/puncher i see ....great skills...i think he could be the best fighter in the game right now".......i could almost see where holyfield is coming from......at the same time when you compile a p4p list.....resume is a part of it....and we all know ggg doesnt even qualify to register on the radar as far as resume....so theres no way you could actually compile a list and put him 1

 

Facts my ass. Lara's trainer stated he has no intentions of moving up, which means all the calling out is bulls****. It was no different than Ali Raymi calling out Roman Gonzales on twitter.

And GGG wanted the fight when he needed it, Ward didn't feel like it. Ward wanted the fight when he needed it, GGG didn't feel like it. It goes both ways.

would you rather have canelo drop the belt and have ggg beat heiland for it? or would you rather have ggg drop a few lbs and beat canelo for it?

 

Like Ward saying he won't fight GGG at a cw? Fighters have every right to refuse catchweights, especially when they worked their asses off to make it to the mando spot.

 

well everyone argued that ggg could demand the cw since hes the "aside"....

canelo would be the aside to ggg....so cant canelo demand it? has canelo every said "ill fight anyone from 147-160"? ......does ggg actually think hes the aside to canelo?

 

people need to realize cw's are here and here to stay.....

whoever is in the drivers seat can ask for them...they level the playing field in order to get two top fighters, who are near each other in divisions,to fight

without them boxing would become pretty boring.....and some guys wouldnt dare go near some others.....

if ggg wants to get a big money fight....and in a fight for that wbc belt that actually means something.....he needs to bow.....otherwise he can get it fighting heiland and no one will really care.....i personally dont see why its so important to ggg anyway

I don't care about all the "A side-B side" garbage. And I never said GGG could demand a cw because he's the "A side". Show me one thread where I was okay with GGG demanding a catchweight from Ward then you'd be right.

What I can't figure out is why it's OK for Bumlovkin to demand a 164lb catchweight for Ward but at the same time he doesn't want to fight @ 155 for Cotto/Canelo.
