Rd 5 starts. Evander stalking, on the offensive. Holy is light on his feet, looking younger than the 43 and wartorn fighter he is.. but Savarese is shot these days anyhow, but he's live. They trade spots and Savarese stalks Holy, while Holy looks to counter. Pace slows down, lots of stalking, posturing. Some jabs. Holy lands to the body, they tie up. Lou trying to pot shot a right hand and lands, only one shot at a time though. Good round for Savarese considering he was on ***** street last round and KD.
Savarese trying to keep his distance. Jabbing to keep Holyfield on the outside, Lou looking tired though. Evander looks like he is trying counterpunch a bit. Maybe taking a round off. Gets some good shots through when he does throw. Round was hard to score 10-9 Holyfield but could have gone to Lou
He looked real good, but that Dyer guy was a big ogre, with almost no skill, just big. Rodriguez looks promising, want to see him in their with some better guys.
More a case of Dyer was very average to being with! I wish rodriguez well and wins over guys who are 13-0-0 like Dyer was looks good on his record but nothing more. Dyer was big and thats all.
Both fighters jabbing again. Holyfield seems content to stay on the outside and take his shots when he feels like. Throws some good punches when Evander has Lou on the ropes. Savarese looks like he is just there. Throws a 1-2 now and then and has been effective with uppercuts but hasn't done enough at this point. He picks it up a bit at the end of the round. Round 10-9 Holyfield on workrate.
Little more action this round, some decent exchanges. Round half done, Holy walking forward, exchanging jabs.. Savarese backs up Holy with a 1-2.. Lou starting to put some punches together. Lou looks like he's recovered fully. Exchanging jabs again.. Evander with a right at the end.. Savarese probably won the round.
ya, congrats to rodriguez, but both these guys have exremely padded records. I guess this was a step up.
