Keep in mind, Bowe probably had better movement of the foot in the ring and was significantly bigger than Louis, who would have been smaller than Holyfield would have.

Not to mention slower of hand, more prone to leaving himself open, often guilty of neglecting his jab in favour of brawling and also often in inferior shape...

Maybe he's trying to annoy his critics who keep pointing to his alleged steroid use. Or maybe he's just dumb.

I think Evander is right. I think the modern day fighters are better than the ones in the past.

I'm not saying that Joe Louis couldn't beat Audley Harrison or anything like that, but it seems they get way too much credit when people talk about them who haven't seen that much of them.

Today's fighters are scrutinized much more because of the advancements of technology.
People nowadays basically can watch half a fighters career while in say Louis's era you could only watch a handful of fights.

Louis was 200lb without modern nutrition and training methods nor the bucket load of HGH and steroids Evander has stuck in himself over the years.

What would have Evander looked like back then? 180lb tops I'd say. What would Louis be like today... Imagine David Haye with a chin. Then double it.

Even without modern training and steroids if you took the 1940's Joe Louis and put him in a ring with Valuev he'd take him to the cleaners.

Obviously with modern training Louis would be a better fighter.

I dont like often talking about the old era of boxers in head to head matches with modern fighters purely because its impossible to say, Louis wouldnt likely be a heavyweight in todays era and the big men of those era's like Canera are no where near as gifted phsyically as the big men of this era, but given modern training techniques and so on they'd be different fighters etc, so its never easy to predict these things.

What a pile of delusional dog **** (no offence)

Louis would **** Holyfield up.... even before Holy got punch drunk... prime for prime, Louis would destroy Holyfield.
Joe Louis was one of the greatest fighters to ever lace them up in any weight class, he would be too fast & powerful for either Bowe or Holyfield, I have absolutely no doubt about this.

If he fights a 45 year old Holyfield, its possible, but the version that TKO'd Tyson, no way..
