All these years Tyson has took the entire blame in what happened while Evander plays the victim.

Reality is that Evander has used his headbutting all through his career in order to get an unfair advantage. It was done purposefully and with malicious intent.

    Courtesy of Holyfield

Tysons actions during their second fight was reactionary. After having been headbutted repeatedly through out the first fight and again during their second he went crazy. Now biting his ear is alot more savage looking but it was a spur of the moment thing vs Holyfield using his as a tactic.

That has always bothered me, now i admit i'v never been a fan of Holyfield but i cannot see how Tyson is the responsible party for that incident. You play with fire & you get burned.

I have no respect for Evander pretending like he is innocent.

Holyfield will never apologies for his headbutt tactics. What Tyson did is no excuse. Alot of fighters use their head as their weapon. But i don't think none does it more then Holyfield. Clottey does it but he didn't use his head so hard to have a fighter head look like a basketball like Holyfield did to Rahman.

If Holyfield admits to butting Tyson, then he's going to have to admit to using this illegal tactic to win a lot of fights. Basically, if he admits being a head butter, it tarnishes his entire career.

I agree fully with you here. I like how many said "Try and headbutt Evander back then", in the first he actually did. I Can't remember the exact round, but Tyson did come in with his head, but Tyson ended up getting the worst of it, his knees buckled and he chose not to try it again.

Tyson did what he had to do, sad thing was, Tyson was getting the best of Evander in the 3rd round and seemed to be getting through Holyfields guard. It's unfortunate will never know what the outcome would of been if Holyfield never headbutted and Tyson never bit.

This is the difference between amatuer boxing and professional boxing.

    Rough House tatics..

Evander Holyfield bullied and beat Mike Tyson up...fair and sqaure.

So shut the **** up, you ****ing tit..!!!!!

Mike Tyson used his elbows, and his own head..and also tried to break fighters arms...

Mike Tyson tried this tatic on Evander Holyfield..

    And what happened..?

Evander Holyfield stood up to the bully and broke him down..!!!

Primadonna cool has the beat . Tyson was a dirty fighter who relied on intimidation. Holyfield like all great boxers knew this and played Tyson at his own game . All great boxers are dirty . Ali was a head rasslin clinch artist , Holmes was an expert thumber and illegally used his left to measure opponents for the right hand . Lennox Lewis was a master at holding and hitting . Mikes fans need to get over the fact that Evander was too much for him .

Not really, Tyson still wanted to fight after he bit Holyfields ear. If it was a street fight Holyfield would of been put to sleep, he turned his back to Tyson and Tyson pushed him and said "Come on". Holyfield made it a fight with his illegal headbutts, yet when someone got dirty with him, he jumped up and down like a little girl. Tyson was the bully that night, not Holyfield.

Tyson did those things like trying to break fighters arm was after the Holyfield rematch. In the first fight Tyson wasn't being a dirty fighter like Holyfield did. I guess you're a biased Holyfield fan.

Thats probably why Tyson never gave an apology to his face. He knew the biting was part of the same combat as headbutting and Evander knew it too, thats why he doesnt care, but Tyson certainly took the fall for it and never explained in detail or used examples of what Holyfield did. Boxing fans know, but 99% of the people sitting in Oprahs audience dont.
Biting certainly comes accross as far more extreme, but in reality Tyson got the worst of it, with big cuts and concussions caused by a head.

I never said Tyson was a great guy
    1) I'm speaking about this particular incident and where the blame lies, my opinion being that Evander brought it upon himself.
    2) Fair & Square? it's illegal. Holyfield relied on these tactics cuz he wouldn't be able to cut it otherwise, massively overrated fighter.
    3) You're a ******

Yes.Every statement here is correct. What's astonishing is that Ricky Hatton spent his entire career holding and hitting but yet that's accepted as ok tactics because he's the english golden boy.Hatton is the dirtiest fighter of the modern era.Without his filth,he would have won no boxing titles.

I'm a big Mike Tyson fan, and i'm not ******g saying that remember "Kool" on Tyson Talk any of you bitches..?

Mike Tyson was a fan of rough house tatics himself, in his last fight against Kevin Mcbride, he was using his head and elbows............

    And i was encouraging this...

Because Mike Tyson was in trouble...

During the Holyfield vs Tyson II match..

Mike Tyson early on, decided to take it down a "Dark Alley" against Evander Holyfeild...

Any of you moaning twats, remember Mike Tyson..trying to hold and break Evander Holyfield's arm in the rematch..?

    What Happen..?

Evander Holyfield threw Mike Tyson against the ropes..!

What ever Mike Tyson did inside the ring..

    • Box
    • Inside fight
    • Trade Blows..
Evander Holyfield just was not going anywhere, and Mike Tyson deep down knew this..!

    Like Bernard Hopkins said..

"I'm ready to fight, box, in the trenches, or down a dark alley"

    And so was Evander Holyfield..

    Oh yes he was..!!!

Quit moaning you ****ing bunch of ****ing stupid bitches..

Mike Tyson was meant to be the baddest man on the planet..? really..ha ha ha

Watch the post fight interview with Tyson after the 1st Holyfield loss, he says "He butted me but I butted him to"
take that **** to the bank he said that, Their styles lead to the heads clashing alot, and that Knot on Rahmans head was his own doing.

if you watch when that happend Rock bounced off the ropes and hit Holys head with his head..
