i have to agree with the thread starter,

i am preety sick of all these people talking about tyson this and that

fact from tyson to lewis to rahman to ruiz, to dokes, to even vaugan bean there like 10 guys who will
say holyfield headbutted them many times...
but the fcuking referees always call it an accident or pretend is going on....
the media also does this also....

something is up, just like the media shows him as a good christian but he has like 5 kids while cheating on his wife....again not much is mentioned

    like come on...what the fcuk....

and the tyson fight...he foughtdirty fight and when he could not handle what he started
    he ran away....

and all these people saying there is no excuse for what tyson did etc...
    give me a break,

holyfield got what he deserved, to bad he was a coward that night...

tyson is a great fighter, holyfield is a great fighter etc

but it is what it is,

a career cheater, got fouled back in a brutal way, so he took the easy way out and ran away

While this is true, given both men are inside fighters and like to trade hooks, headbutts are bound to happen. Though Holyfield was the one that started butting, Tyson did try and give one or two of his own, but the intentional one he did try to do caused his legs to buckle and ended up doing more damage to him than Holyfield.

You keep mentioning about Bride but that was Tyson last fight lol. Tyson mostly did his dirty tactics was in the Holyfield rematch and after that. Tyson in his prime has hit fighters after the bell but thats not intensional like Holyfield does with his head and Holyfield also mostly throws his punches after the bell. But Holyfield head is easily his third best weapon.

As i said, i know Tyson is dirty. My comment pertains to Evander missing part of his ear, my only point is that he is as much responsible for that as Mike is. And given how notorious the incident is i think it's BS that Evander comes off like he's an angel.

Tyson tried to break Holyfields arm in the rematch with the same punk move he did on Franz Botha .

lol i wasn't going to mention this but yeah, that is one of the things outside the ring that make me dislike him too.

He never shuts the **** up about god, he's a Jesus freak but has a dozen children give or take and how many are illegitimate?

Used his elbows against Razor Ruddock, Frank Bruno...

    Remember Francis Botha Fight..

Oh and hitting after the bell is ok, thats fine it's ok folks it's Mikey..let him do it..

Did'nt he try and hit Evander Holyfield after the bell in the first fight..first round..?

Mike Tyson took his fights with Evander Holyfield, to the streets long before the rematch..!

    And lost both ****ing fights...

You blokes should watch the Ezzard Charles v Joe Louis fight from the early 50s . Ezzard had exactly the same technique as Evander . He head butted the hell out of the Bomber in a quite legal fashion . They bend at the knees when they are at close range and follow through with the head after throwing the left hook . Tyson was never willing to die in the ring unlike Evander . Look at their careers . Holyfield has never quit in a fight . Mike has many times . Ron Borges had it right . Tyson never won a fight he had difficulties in except the first Bruno fight .

Like a little girl? What would you have done, give him the other ear. I would only imagine how painful that could be. They were both dirty fighters and Holy stood up to him. Holy did not get caught up in the intimidation of Tyson. That was key for Holy.
