Well the record says a W beside Holyfields name and a L beside Tysons name for the fight and Holyfield walked away with the belt,so i can say quite conclusively that Holyfield won...again.

Holyfield butted Tyson over and over again and he held.

He definitely wasn't shot, and physically he still had the tools. Just not the same skills. But it was a very good win for Holy. Especially since it happened after the Bowe fights.

Actually, I've talked to Evander on the subject. His words were, in conversation with me, similar to this.

"Biting my ear off was a gut reaction to a fight that wasn't going his way. It don't matter. I get to remember the referee saving him, and get to remember knocking him out, forever."

Holyfield won. He beat the **** out of Mike.

And Tyson still doesn't own up to headbutting Golota, which is what made Andrew so furious after the fight. Unfotunately it's part of the difficult sport of boxing.

While I agree that Holyfield is a flagrant headbutter, trying to paint Tyson as Mr.Clean is just wrong. For example I watched the Biggs fight yesterday and Tyson elbowed him repeatedly.

Tyson was a BIG elbow man. As big as Holyfield headbutter. But the difference is Tyson never did any damage with elbows, Holyfield won fights with his head. Still, Tyson WAS a dirty fighter, no doubt about it.

Any why should Holyfield own up anything? He came to Oprah thinking he will get an apology, but Tyson did no such thing. And its good that he didnt. But why would anyone expect Holyfield to admit anything in that case?

Well what about his motion from 96 backwards? BS, he intentionally started using his head as a weapon, theres no denying that. Too many guys got f*cked up from Holyfields head from 95-present.

Holyfield will always be a dirty ass fighter to me. He used that head like a polished weapon in almost every fight.

Golota was nothing more then a dirty bully who lost the fight before it even began. He was visibly nervous in the prefight footage there is beacuse he knew he will be in the ring with one man he wont be able to play the dirty bully with. :hey And he got his ass kicked around fair and square (ONE headbutt or not) and he wasent man enough to take his beating! When he knew he couldnt afford to play dirty he quit instead! Polish sissy! :-(

My trainer taught me how to elbow on the inside and headbutt.
He didnt teach me to bite though.

In some ways, In a weird kind of way, I understand why he did it. But he let his fans down with that move.

Guys, I don't think the thread starter ever said Tyson was clean. Of course he was a dirty fighter.

The point here is that Tyson has been painted as a monster for the bite and for other dirty tactics, which is fair.

What isn't fair is that Holyfield has this saintly image in many circles, but he's as dirty as Tyson. Sometimes even more dirty.
