    Thoughts now one year later?

Usyk has overtaken Holyfield as greatest CW in history. Come at me bro.

    Usyk

Champion in 10th fight, Undisputed in 15th
Gassiev, Briedis, Glowacki, Huck, Mchunu, Hunter

Edit - Oh and it's all been done on the road in Poland, Germany, Latvia and Russia. F'ing Legend.

    Holyfield
Champion in 12th fight, Undisputed in 18th
Qawi x2, De Leon, Ocasio, Tillman, Parkey, Mutti (coming off KO loss)

Its close. Two or three quality defenses would separate Usyk, particularly if he fights at a level as he did today.

Ya but the only guys really left for him are Lebedev, Vlasov, Dorticos, Briedis rematch. None of them would add much to his legacy aside from just more defenses.

Lebedev people would discredit due to age

Vlasov would show he's a man of the people taking on the CW Pirog to once and for all determine slickness supremecy.

Dorticos meh, okay, he'd embarrass him though

    Briedis rematch wouldn't do much

I'd be cool if he banged out two or three defenses in a year or less then on to HW

A win against Ward or even Tony Bellew would be enough for me.

on a purely CW level, both have the same number of defences, so are equally accomplished, but 2Slyk has done it quicker, a remarkable acheivement.

The Witcher has made his mark on history.

Usyk needs to make another defence to be ahead of Holy at CW.

I have no doubt he will, however 2Slyk is my man.

A more intriguing question would be 2Slyk vs Holy at CW.

I'd say Usyk and Holyfield are neck and neck right now. You could argue it either way. A couple of more good wins for Usyk and he would be ahead.

Lol, is Usyk better than Ocassio ?, Qawi ?or Deleon? Let's get him pass group 1st before we start putting him over Holyfield. He and most of the boxers in todays game look amateurish. And their opponents look even worse. Fighters who are fighting for pro boxing championships in today's game, like Wilder,Joshua, Lomo are lucky to be fighting in today's era of lack of talent in the boxing game. If they were fighting in the 90's and earlier decades with this skill level they show today, they would've never been heard of. So yes cherish what they do against today's competition, but get a education by watching how Fighters like Holyfield and fighters from his era and earlier looked against fighters in today's game.

Cruiser is arguably the most stacked division in boxing right now. Usyk beat a group of very tough, game and skilled cruisers like they owed him money. Some divisions like 168 and HW may be deserts, but not cruiser.

    What's your assessment of Vlasov?
I was a huge Pirog fan and studied his style alot. I thought he was incredibly talanted and unique.
Vlasov looks like a poor mans knock off. I value your opinion of him.

I have Uysk at number 20!

They may be evenly matched with each other today, but that doesn't equate to ATG status.

Some really underplaying what Usyk has achieved. He looked the part yesterday and has unified the division very quickly, I think the guy is the real deal (pun intended)
