    It's possible.
It will probably be a decent payday for a guy like Sexton.

I'd rather see Holyfield fight the Harrison-Sprott winner (esp. if it's Audley) - that would bring some perspective to the state of British heavyweights, and the devalueved "European" title.
Audley cant beat Holyfield, there's just no way, even when Holyfield's 80 years old.

Im all for fighters getting paydays and for his age Holyfield is incredible.

But the guy needs to retire. His speech is slurred and its only a matter of time before some serious damage is done. That is if it hasn't been done already!!!

The fact that the article mentions a fight against Vitali makes me think some serious damage will be done if that happens :-(

It would be a winnable fight for Sexton and a very good name on his record. would certainly get him some mainstream attention.

He passes all the same medical tests and scans other younger fighters pass, and extra tests on top of that. So, only the medical people can really say if he's damaged.

I agree he should have retired years ago, but it's quite obvious he's not going to now.

Vitali's a OLD man himself. Who knows what will happen.

Anyway, I'd put money on Holyfield being able to beat albert Sosnowski, so if Vitali takes on Holyfield he'll actually be steeping up his opposition !

Wonder if they'll use 'illegal' wraps and hit each other behind the head? That's why guys won't come to Europe to fight.

nah, wont happen. i hope Frank sees that it could do some real damage to Evander, even though sam aint a big puncher.
if holyfield ever fights vit or haye, i would fear for his health and would lose respect for vit or haye for fighting him

Sad state of affairs when you hear of fights like this. I like Sexton but if he fought and beat Holy it be sad day. Not to be rude but he doesn't belong in same breath as Holyfield but end of day the lad has a right to earn and put a legendary name on his record.

    Exactly.

Holyfield might well be pushing 50, but that's not to say he still isn't capable of teaching a pretender a lesson.

As for fighting Vitali - why shouldn't he?

So long as he passes a medical examination and is ranked.... he's as much right as anyone. It's not as if Vitali is this fearsome banger anymore either.

I'd like to see Evander give it up though, been saying it for years. But he did just as good a job on Valuev as Haye did, and has been licenced by the NSAC.

Vitali looks just as likely to get hurt at this stage.

Johnson savaged his face without hardly hitting him!
