The odds are on Holy, but Bruno has a chance, especially if Holy turns up on an off day and if it´s a 10 rounder instead of a 12 rounder.
You can't always go by that remember Mike stopped Stewart in one but Stewart gave Holyfield made it almost 20 rounds with Holyfield in two fights.. Being stopped in the eighth in the first fight and losing on points in the other. Also Bruno beat Mc Call who beat and lost to Lewis who drew and beat Holyfield. Confused?
Holyfield relatively easily. As soon as Holyfield hurts Bruno, probably within 6, Bruno will freeze, he won't go down, take a knee, breather etc, just freeze and Holy will get the TKO. I think Gary Mason would have given Evander a tougher fight...still a Holy win though. .
I'd prob liken this matchup to the Bert Cooper vs. Evander Holyfield matchup (Except Knowing Bruno has better tech skills) that being said, I'll pick Evander by late stoppage or UD. Holyfield always had the advantage of superior condition vs anyone in his era. fatigue has always been Bruno's worst enemy. (He's usualy ahead at the time of most of his defeat's) Bruno has the Punchers chance.. but if pushed past 5 Rd's, There is no way Frank can win.
I'd pick Bruno if the fight ends early w/a KO. He was a fairly big puncher. However, Bruno also had a weak beard and a lack of stamina. the farther the fight goes, the better it would have been for Holyfield. Holy probably would have won by late tko IMO.
that post is great and is what bruno was all about really, shame because he was a decent boxer and a real nice guy too:thumbsup
