Anybody got anything else but a holyfield victory by knockout in a prime for prime match up between these 2 at cruiser? Personally just can't see a way haye can beat him
Holyfield is just too much man for that punk Haye. Plus he had a granite chin whil Haye's is made of paper.
Holyfeild would stop Haye in 10. But Holyfeild at 190-200lbs was the best fighter ever. So it is no disgrace, Haye does not match up well with Holy.
Cruiser weight Holyfield was an awesome beast. With his [Holyfield's] strong chin, speed and stamina I don't see any way that Haye could beat him.
Haye would demolish Holy in under 6 rds as he is already the consensus best and most dangerous Heavyweight according to most of his fans.
Remove the possibly and you're right :good He was the most dominant fighter out of ANY weightclass, ever. No one else is generally regarded number one all time in their division like Holyfield.
Haye was a fantastic cruiserweight, and could be a fantastic heavyweight too, but Holyfield was the greatest cruiserweight ever IMO. If Haye can't stop you, he can't beat you, and if Tyson and Lewis couldn't put Holyfield down, Haye couldn't. Haye would have a slim puncher's chance, but I envisage Holyfield being a class apart, wearing him down and stopping him in the 5th or 6th round.
Holy would beat him relatively easy. If Holy could take Tysons shots, he probably would just smile at Haye's. Now Chris Byrd dropping from Heavy (about 5 years younger) to CW would be a good fight.
Byrd was good against plodding giants like McCline. Against actual skilled quality fighters he struggled.
