Holyfield V Tyson - Popularity

Well you should you can't just bite a chunk out of someone's ear. Half the butts in the first fight were Tyson's fault anyway. Tyson in the second fight just realised he could not win and found a way out.

 

Tyson is/was a criminal, a guy with little sense for right or wrong. Evander comes off as a guy who's just too dumb to know what to say without breaking the borders of becoming politically incorrect. Evander's probably not a bad guy at all, just a little too stupid to express himself.

 

That's what people are saying . . . He is another religious nut job hypocrite. Anyone who believes in those fairy tales need to get their had checked. Born a Roman Catholic I can honestly say that Christians are the scum of the earth. That being said, who gives a **** About what these guys do outside the ring? Yeah they sporting greats but we have to stop putting them pedistals.

 

Does anyone think Tysons just a loose cannon waiting to blow

He has this carefully crafted nice guy image and did that broadway play where he made his problems look comedic and sugar coated some of his incidents

Holyfield was a hell of a fighter and seems like a decent human

issue is I doubt he was charismatic outside of his leading by example, the hardworking and humble fighter who took on all comers and fought well past his best doing great feats

Tyson was such a popular phenomenon that its hard for Evander to get his credit a lot like Holmes following up Ali

Tyson gets so many breaks on boxing forums by lots of posters who say his ear biting was ok or that he wasnt in his prime vs Buster despite the fact that everyone "knew" Tyson was going to stop him in 3 rounds or less. Always a large bag of excuses

 

WTF is your problem with Holyfield? It was only a **** TV show and did you not see his two housemates who voted him out :-( A bi***ual boy band singer and some trollop and both of them voted to keep in a scheme hooker instead of Holyfield :rofl
