We're gonna get a lot of people being in emotional and exaggerating saying "worst decision ever" and crap like that, but the truth is this was a fight so atrocious and low on action that no decision would have been worse than the fight itself.

People who scored the fight lopsided for Holyfield: go back to your scorecard and see which rounds specifically are "musts" for Holyfield. Therein lies the problem: although Valuev did close to nothing and put on a disgraceful show, Holyfield did almost nothing as well. On a round he seemed to win, remember that he was only squeaking by in your opinion by landing one or two punches. If someone gave that specific round to Valuev, you may have disagreed, but not vehemently. One by one, those close rounds made it a wide scorecard for Holyfield in some people's minds, but truthfully each round was so close in suckitude that they could have gone either way. When each round one-by-one can go either way, you're going to get some VERY different scorecards.

I scored it 115-113 Holyfield, but I could have seen anything from about 119-109 Holyfield to about 119-109 Valuev. It's not a robbery because the "victim" did nothing to earn the win. Everyone loses.

The best you could give to Valuev would be a 115-113 loss, so that would be a five round swing to the joker that gave it 116-112 to him

One of the worst fights at this level ever followed by a terrible decision. Why did I even bother?? :-(

Where are all the bitches on here that were claiming that Valuev was throwing the fight? Wake the fvck up! This is what happens when you put a slow as mud, 7' 310 pound skillless wonder in with a great mover. If Holy was anywhere near prime he would have battered Valuev and stopped him. Why would Valuev throw a fight in which he trained down to a career lowest weight? Valuev sucks. Let him fight Vitali so we can see this tree get chopped down!

Cant believe i watched this fight. You know a robbery when you see one and even the commentators were like wtf?? Fans know The real deal is the true WBA champion. Valuev is a ****ing joke of a fighter only skill he has is to produce growth hormones. I just wish Chagaev or one of the Klitschko's get to him.

If boxer A lands 10 punches and boxer B lands no punches, boxer A wins the round. On that logic alone you have to give Holyfield the first five rounds or so.

In actuality of this fight, though, Holyfield was landing 1-2 quality punches a round to Valuev's 0-1. All a judge would have to do is consider that even and say Valuev was the stalker (laughable, but stay with me, you know what I mean), and he edges the round rather than Holyfield, the guy who was bouncing around out of harm's (term used lightly) way.

    Maxime.

You are usually a smart guy. If Larsen lost to Cocco, then what do you think will happen? The German promoter will mathc Bute with another of his SMW fighters!

Would that be better? No, it would be far worse, since Larsen is by far the best and the one with the best resume the German promoter has.

You have to understand that the clause on Bute is not Larsen's, it is the German promoter's. Yeah?

Wow, far out this is rally cool. Hearing about this awsome fight, and watching the bowl games, and it being close to Christmas. Pretty cool I guess.

That's because a lot of people (including judges) mistake "not moving" with "effective aggression".
