Foreman probably doesn't get enough credit for beating Cooper either.

I think Cooper was probably messing around with the coke around that time, and he did just quit, but Foreman's strength and power clearly spooked him.
Even if he was 100% he possibly would have quit or been knocked out just a few more rounds in.
He just wasn't used to having to run away so much. He didn't the reach to pick up points without get hit hard and often from Big George.

Hard time because he didnt expect cooper to come fight Bert was a known quitter coming in, plus Evander was set to face Tyson until Tyson decided to get in trouble for raping a *****, so Holyfield fought cooper in his home town last min replacement type of deal didnt expect cooper to nail him with that looping right hand
But Evander came back after that and dominated the entire fight

Possibly Bowe's best pre-Holyfield win ... it was against a well prepared Cooper .. however the way Bowe fought he just as easily could have been badly hurt himself as Cooper was a terrific puncher .. Bowe simply had the firepower to take him out ... as far as Evander went. he was dominating the fight, a bit of a letdown fight as Bert was supposed to be a bit shot at that point and he got caught by a terrific shot ... everyone knows Evander had an all time great chin which shows just how hard Cooper could crack ... Evander quickly recovered and wiped the floor w Cooper ... that's that ..

People who question Bowe's chin and unwillingness to face punchers should watch that fight. Bowe took one right on the chin from Cooper and didnt budge. As soon as Futch told him to step back stick a one two in his face and give himself room to punch it was over. Great learning experience for a up and coming Bowe.
