this guy is going to smash old man holyfield off every corner of the ring until holyfield hits the canvas. it doesnt seem real.
I think it will be a pretty boring fight, with Valeuv using his size and weight to force his will, and tire Holyfield out. It will be easy for Valuev to lean all over him, and once Holyfield gets winded, he will just take him out. It will be a horrible fight.
As a Holyfield fan, I have mixed feelings about this fight. Part of me would love to see him overcome the odds and beat Valuev, and so in that sense, I'm looking forward to seeing if he can do it. But, I'm a realist, and I recognize that it's SO unlikely, and far more likely that this is just a mismatch as most people suggest. This said, since he absolutely will not stop, I will be rooting HARD for Evander to pull off what seems to be the impossible. Boy, if he did, it would be amazing - more significant in some respects than what Big George did.
He has extremely firmly said he wouldn't. He wants unification if he wins. That means Holyfield vs Vitali or Wlad after.
Well I guess you can't say that the guy isnt ambitious. But he would get severly hurt against either of the Klitschkos. I wonder if it isnt subtle brain damage that is already responsible for his denial of reality.
This is gonna be boring as hell.Look at Ibragimov vs Holyfield to compare but Sultan is a much more explosive fighter than Valuev.
I would love to see Holyfield beat the overrated Giant but the odds are against him. I also dont want to see Holyfield get hurt, but something tells me Valuev isnt fast enough or even really coordinated enough to do serious harm to a guy like Evander. Look at how he struggled against John Ruiz, Larry Donald and more so Chagaev in a loss. If your 7'0" - 325 lbs you should not be struggling against the likes of a mid 30's John Ruiz or a Larry Donald. If this was the mid 1990's Evander would chew this guy up but unfortunately at 46 Holyfields taking a big chance here, still as crazy as it sounds I wouldnt be surprised if he squeaks out a points win over the Russian.
Valuev sucks, I wish he would lose. Who would've thought they would need a Super Heavy Division followed by the Freak Show Division.
Holyfield is getting beyond a joke now. I'm tired of typing "he should have retired seven years ago" everytime he secures another mismatch. I personally am almost to the point where I'd like to see him just get destroyed so maybe he finally is convinced to get the hell out--not that it would matter at this point. Hate to say it, but true. One of the reasons I sometimes hate this game as much as I love it.
