    A 49 year old relic called Evander Holyfield is set to challenge Alex Povetkin in December 2011 for teh Regular WBA heavyweight title. I know this is proper confusing, cos Wlad already beat Chagaev in 2009 for teh WBA heavyweight title, And Wlad also beat Haye in 2011 for teh Super WBA heavyweight title. Anyway it is what it is And we all know teh WBA are crazy mother****ers. So Holyfield is ancient like a dinosaur And has been SHOT since he was age 38, but in 3 months time he gets a title shot at a 'World title belt' of teh oldest ABC org which has been around since 1965! If Holyfield does scrape a decision from Povetkin, rumor has it he shall give Hopkins a title shot in 2012, even if Hopkins loses his WBC Diamond lightheavy title next month to Dawson. My guess is Holyfield VS Hopkins would be at a catchweight of 200lbs, cos Holyfield would have to drain 26lbs from his last fight when he was 226lbs fighting Nielsen, And Hopkins would have to bulk-up by 26lbs from his last fight when he was 174lbs fighting Pascal.

    Who wins?? :bbb

    I would call teh fight "Doomsday 2012 - this is how teh world ends!"

    i do agree Hopkins wins, But do you really say he is shot??

    Hopkins did not look shot in his 2 fights with Pascal.

    well hes not exactly young, and he aint going to get younger.

    Dare i say it, Hopkins is the more intelligent fighter.

    It would be a good fight BECAUSE, both will fight at a slow pace, which suits each other.

    This would be a chess match more than anything.

    Simples! Ancient Fossil Holy just needs life-threatening dehydration, & a Saline IV Hydration Drip to keep him breathing before the weigh-in, like Oscar did for the Pacman fight! Also, he should listen to "I just wanna make you sweat" by Snoop & Guetta, while he kills himself to make weight.

    :lol::lol:

    Stupid for Evander to try shedding that much muscle, unless he already knows that laying off the PEDs will do exactly that for him. Still, he's not beating B-Hop by relying on his chin for defense.

    Toney already proved that X wouldn't be too small to prevail here, and 'Nard's still one of the best in the world. Plus, he's got more brains left than Holy, who's more than likely already clinched a diagnosis of pugilistica dementia.
