Very few people can bench 400 pounds and those who can are often around 300 pounds, or are serious weight lifters. I tend to doubt Holyfield could Bench 360 pounds ten times. This would be quite a feat and if he could it would be on video.

Jack Munroe, at least based on listed weights.
Based on listed weights he beat 6 fighters above old CW limit.

"Holyfield didn't hit that hard, even on PED's ." Mendoza
Does a 33 years old outweighed by 30lbs Corbett, who hadnt won a fight in 6 years go 23 rds with Holyfield?
Does Choynski outweighed by52 lbs go 20rounds to a draw with Holyfield?
Does a 5'8",outweighed by25lbs Sharkey go a total of 45 rds in2 fights with Holyfield?

Which of them is the more proven at knocking out REAL HEAVYWEIGHTS
    Jeffries or Holyfield?

Neither Jeffries or Munroe weighed in. " Jim Jeffries In The Ring ." Adam Pollack.
Can you please provide the other names so I can check them with primary sources?

    Ruhlin weighed 199.5lbs
20 years old Van Buskirk Oakland tribune has him "at least195lbs" another report has him at 203lbs.
    Pollack has Everett at190/192lbs.
I don't have an exact weight for Goddard, but I don't believe he ever weighed much more than 190lbs.Goddard was 40 years old when he fought Jeffries
Jackson was 195lbs the day of the fight.
So no confirmed fights with men of 208lbs or more for Jeffries in fact no confirmed fights with men over 200lbs,excluding his beat down by Johnson who was 208lbs and Holyfield averaged 213.5lbs in title fights.
We can dispute who would win but there is no dispute over who was the more proven man versus real heavyweights, nor who knocked out real heavyweights.
*Joe Kennedy 's best weight, according to Pollack was 190/195lbs,although he did not weigh in for his bout with Jeffries,he was described as being30lbs over his best weight. So,if anyone was desperate enough I suppose they could include that fight?

This is simply not true at all. Earl Boykins a 5'5 139 pound NBA player famously benched 315 for 3 reps. I've been in countless weight rooms where guys under 250 are able to put up 405. You'd be shocked at how naturally strong some human beings are, add in Holyfields likely use of steroids and 10 reps of 350+ is easy to believe

Munroe for sure. Perhaps Kennedy. Jeffries had an easier time vs heavier opponents.

Who did Holyfield beat cleanly without PED's?

Yes it is true. I'd bet less than 1% of the population can bench 400 pounds or more. Hence it is rare. The weight room's you've been in is a concentration of people who live that life style in the area.

I've been in college weight rooms, and played football. Most lineman can't do 10 reps of 350+ and these guys are way bigger than Holyfield.

Here's what another link has to say.

For one, he beat real-sized, real athlete heavyweights for lots and lots of money.

He was also a very good basketball player.

Lol it's rare yes. So is an athelete like Evander Holyfield. Why would he claim this if it wasn't true? I see no real reason to doubt it to be honest. He was a 220 pound blue chip athelete on steroids. I've seen far crazier feats of strength in person and I don't know any Evander Holyfields

Jeffires was a mediocre athlete by the standards of Vander's era. Not overly fast or explosive. Certainly not big. A good, lil plugger, That doesn't beat an elite specimen and operator like Holy. Not ever.

19 posts about weight training when it is also relevant to the capacity of boxers & others are discussing it including with me-& sometimes out of general interest, when folks may post repeatedly about even non-sports related topics with equanimity-is not at all excessive.
Especially when one has thousands of posts here over some years.
