I was at his fight with Maddalone. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. That being said, I won't buy this.

I really don't know why on earth they're sticking it on PPV. I know Holyfield still considers himself a PPV guy, but you'd think the people actually putting their cash into it would know better...Holyfield-Oquendo lost a load of dough.

Yeah this is pathetic and the kind of stuff that is killing boxing. Its Holyfield Vs Lou Saverese (I still remember that microwave fight he had with Tyson ears ago) Please not again.

I dont hate Holyfield but it angers me because how good an opportunity would this be to get a really good undercard of talented boxers and use Evanders name to promote the sport of boxing. You'd have parents who remember the him when he was the "Real Deal" sitting down and watching it possibly with their kids and helping to grow the next generation of fans.

Making it a PPV was a business decision dumbass. Evander Holyfield is the highest grossing heavyweight PPV fighter in history. I'm not happy it's on PPV, but I'm grown up enough not to cry about it. Also, not happy the DISHNETWORK doesn't have it, but that's life. Holyfield has a very large fan base and they know it, that's one of the reasons they put it on PPV. I would pay the $30 for the fight if Dishnetwork provided it, because to me $30 is not a lot of cash, but I can understand some of you guys who live at home with your mothers (losers), or have a **** poor job working at Mickey D's and can't afford it.

Anybody going to record it to dvd, let me know.

i dont mind holyfield making some money i just dont think its going to be a big fight im saving up my money for wright/hopkins. what i dont get is this going to be like holyfield vs maddalone where holyfield just ****s the guy up and knocks him out, and that fight was free on a local sports station here. so i don't see why a pretty much identical fight is a ppv

I admit that if it was shown on PPV in the UK I would buy it, because Holyfield is my favourite active Heavyweight fighter, not because the fight will be anything special.

I do think that this fight being on PPV is a joke though, it is not even close to PPV quality.

Well it wasn't a KO I see although Lou went down a couple times.
God Bless Holyfield I hope he gets another shot at the top.
