Terms and rules: 15 rounds, 10 point must scoring, 20 x 20 ring.

I have not seen this one. The two are about the same size.

I like Holyfield here, on points.

Better defense, countering, footwork, and very tough to stop. Probably would score a knockdown along the way.

Holy likes nothing more than a good scrap. Joe is the wrong guy to scrap with. Better combination puncher...more power. I got Joe.

Thats pretty how I see it too. Holyfield too proven on the highest level.

Waiting for someone coming up with Evan Fields beeing the same size as Louis...

In an exchange of chin vs power, the chin usually wins, so I pick Holyfield, he has enough to beat Louis.

Joe Louis by KO, he is the far, far superior fighter

Hard to call, honestly, either man could beat the other, depending on the night. Some versions of Holyfield, I'd pick Louis to beat, other versions of Holyfield would make me wonder.

Holyfield by decision. The Real Deal would box him and bang with him when he had to.

I think this would be a very close, competitive fight and good fight. Hard to call I'd pick Louis by decision if I had to guess.

Louis might have shown more power.....but against who? Holygield was punching at bigger better stronger guys!!!
Holyfield has a more proven chin and can either move or wrestle and clinch when tagged.

I wouldn't bet on anyone under 230 to beat Holyfield other than peak Ali and possibly Holmes simply because Holyfield didn't Like to chase guys around

And people here know I used to defend Tyson big-time in Holyfield vs tyson threads but I've just come to accept just how great he was

Untrue. He only brawls if he doesn't respect his opponent.
Against Foreman who's power was well known he fought much differently than vs Stewart, Cooper or the first Bowe fight.

Once he lost to Bowe he fought much smarter in the rematch and stopped trying to just knock Bowe out.
He fought a perfect fight against Tyson when he was a big underdog.

He only brawls and fights stupid when he is overconfident like vs Alex Stewart the first time and Bert Cooper.

Louis is top 3 all time I doubt so Holyfield would obviously be on his A+ game just like he was vs Tyson when people thought he was going to die.

    Holy was a smart fighter

I had him losing to Bowe 2nd fight.
Louis still beats him regardless how he fights IMO
