How do you see this one panning out.

I think I favour Rocky to do the job and maybe score a late stoppage.

Holyfield by late stoppage cuts, too quick, big , athletic, and a guy with a heart as big as the rocks, only Holy is Physically superior..

He goes 15 grueling rounds with 5 foot 6 swarmed Qawi but has an easier time with Marciano?

Marciano out guts the real deal.

Insane fight, Marciano would be in trouble more than once. But his power and endurance is just a little better and it will decide this, He Kos Holyfield in 14rounds.

If its a 12 round fight..... 50/50 Holyfield could win on points.

Holyfield,Rocky's fans will say Evander liked to brawl and that would be his downfall, but Evander was brawling with very big young guys.He would be the stronger man here and able to match Marciano for fitness. Those are two assets normally in Rocky's corner, plus Holyfield would not be near 40 years old.

I pick Holyfield to beat Charles and Moore,Walcott might be a tossup,[ and I mean prime Walcott,] so I have to pick him here. One thing is for sure,no one would be asking for their money back.:good

In H2H matchups we assume we are matching both men at their best, otherwise some might pick the Marciano of the first Lastarza fight, the first Lowry fight,or the Rocky of the Willis Applegate bout.

Always liked Holyfield...but I'll take The Rock in this one. Stoppage on cuts?
Marciano had his nose split open down to the BONE in his 2nd fight with Ezzard Charles in September of 1954. They had trouble stopping the flow of blood gushing from his nose...the doctor and the ref gave him one more round....Marciano stormed out...KO'd Charles...and kept the title. Rocky had a knack for coming up with the big punch when he needed to...just like the first fight with JJW in 1952. I'm taking Rocky to win. Exciting fight...

That was the problem with Marciano, every time he fought the same old story, his skin on his face would really get cut, and it would bleed, and then the referee would stop the fight.
It happens every time, it's frustrating watching it.
    It happened 49 times.
Admittedly about 12 of those times he was fighting his own brother who was usually black-face and pretending to be Harry Wills or Larry Holmes or someone. Bing Crosby maybe, I can't remember. On New England Brockton Rhode Island, his hometown, and the mafia fixed it. I saw Sammy Davis Jr. smoking cigarettes talking about it.

Yes, but he wore make-up. Allegedly.

Charles did not have Evander's whiskers.Holyfield would be 32 lbs heavier than Charles and in his prime.:think

Will Holyfield be the one who warred with Qawi or the Marvel superhero of later years? If both fighters were "natural" it would be a close, tough fight like the Holyfield-Qawi one.

I like Holyfield as a fighter, but I think the transformation of his physique was highly dubious, and I find it hard not to hold this against him. The same applies to Roy Jones, who I think was iffy, too. Just my opinion.

Holyfield was a guy who walked around lighter than his fighting weight when he was a Heavyweight. Read into that what you will. Quawi was a fighter who could also give Marciano big problems. He was only ever stopped by Foreman ,and Holyfield, and I don't see Marciano out boxing him.
