And yet Canelo continued to make 154 for 3 more years scoring some of his best wins in this time. If he was so drained, then why keep fighting there?
No he didn't, he only made 154 once more during his career (vs. Liam Smith). For his other fights during those 3 years, either he insisted on over-the-weight/catchweight fights or they were billed as outright MW fights. He even deprived himself of a shot at Lara's title b/c he refused to get down under 154 for their fight.
Continued to fight at Jr. middle until September of 2016, sometimes hitting the mark of 155 instead of 154. Big deal…. And this is supposed to entirely negate the fact that he was 15 years younger than Mayweather who was less active and had to ascend in weight to meet him ?
It was to him, since he was the one who insisted on fighting Lara @ a catchweight instead of for his title. Even then, he still looked gaunt af at the weigh in. No less than the reasons you gave for downplaying Holy's wins over bigger &/or younger fighters like Bowe & Tyson.
If a man is willing to inject numbing agent into his hands... All natural, because testosterone is natural. But people aren't ready to have these convos lol
Tyson Vs Holyfield wasn’t a case of one fighter being out of prime. Both guys were out of prime and one of them was on the comeback trail. Against Bowe, Holyfield lost two out of three to a man for whom the experience gap was far wider than Álvarez vs Mayweather and the age gap far narrower. Lara and Alvarez were both legit junior middleweights and nothing you can say about this guy or that guy having to gain or lose a single pound here and there is going to diminish the fact that Mayweathers win over Álvarez was better than just about any win Holyfield ever had. Keep in mind that Canelo is just ONE example
Were is the solid case for Floyd being on anything ? Manny went from 106 to 147 ... Floyd did nothing near that'd his body had one o the marks of it ..
Some floyd wins were gift by his fellow american judges.. Had he fought outside his backyard he would not have an undefeated record..
Nah Mayweather was definitely not clean his whole career you should look up "IV Injections Mayweather" that's quite a big controversy and talking point that's been debated on this forum alot before. I'm not going to go into that now but i guarantee you Mayweather was definitely not clean his entire career but you can search it yourself and make your own mind up. As for for thread the only correct answer is Mayweather. Mayweather's best wins...... Corrales Castillo x2 Maidana x2 Cotto Mosley Hatton G.Hernandez Judah ODLH Gatti Marquez Canelo Titles at Super Featherweight, Lightweight, Jr Welterweight, Welterweight, Jr Middleweight. Holyfield lost too many of his big fights and was too hit and miss at Heavyweight to be rated above Mayweather. Had Holyfield beaten Lewis and then retired i think Holyfield would've had a better case to being rated above Mayweather.
Mayweather only had 1 decision that he probably should've lost to Castillo in their 1st fight but even that was close, i thought Mayweather clearly beat ODLH 8-4 and i thought Mayweather beat Maidana 7-5 in their 1st fight although it could've been a draw.
Jose Luis Castillo was the only real controversial one I remember and Floyd took care of that in the rematch. You probably think Holyfield’s draw with Lewis was legit
