Holyfield wasn’t using HGH and wasn’t PED huge in 91 however Tyson was three years removed from Kevin Rooney and the peekaboo system. I’d say 50/50

Rooney was nothing. Soo overrated. Tyson never beats Holyfield. Too tough. Too much heart. Tyson always crumbles. Like a cookie!!!!!!

    Closer fight.
Evander has to climb off the canvas twice to stop Tyson in the 11th. They were both quicker in 91. Though Tyson wasn't as quick as he had been a few years before. Holyfield threw nice, snappy combinations in his prime.
I don't think he bosses Tyson in the clinches as easily as he did in 96-7. Mike's punches would have more effect.

I think he would have lost.
Holyfield needed the extra muscle weight to control Tyson with effective clinches.
Which means I believe he likely would not have the necessary strength & energy if he was natural for life.

At the time I picked Tyson, with 28 years of hindsight, I would go for Holyfield by tough decision.

Tyson by 4 round ko. He walks in to as he did against Bert Cooper, but this time there no escape!

Depends on how Holyfield fought. If he traded with Tyson, Tyson could match his handspeed and had more powerful shots.

Tyson prior to his conviction had lost to Buster Douglas and twice looked very beatable against Ruddock, by that point he was just relying on his speed and power to win there was no strategy or technique anymore and while that was enough against the likes of Alex Stewart against a boxer the calibre of Holyfield he'd come up short either by decision or more likely a late stoppage.

Mike gets caught coming in and is cross eyed after getting up. TKO in 8.
