Fightnight will be Dec. 20th in Germany or Switzerland. Holyfield will only receive 750.000 $ but he claims that´s allright because he´s honoured to get this opportunity.

Valuev is a disgrace...look at his optionals in the past. he is the definition of a paper champ

"I will fight Wlad anytime he's ready" what a joke

I hope Haye fights this mauler and beats him cause that's the only way we will see unification of the wba.

go haye...woot woot :happy :happy :happy

and holyfield.....my god have some ****ing pride and fight someone who has some life in them.

no. he was an optional choice. so let's take a look at valuev's optional "title" :rofl defenses

Beck, Barrett, Mccline and now Holyfield :rofl

he wants nothing to do with the klitschkos. haye should try to get ranked in the wba

If true this is a sad day for Boxing and Valuev is a piece of **** for taking this fight with all the other fights that are availiable to him.

The WBA really needs to make an eliminator not involving any of the three (Valuev, Chagaev, Ruiz) and between some real contenders. Valuev will look ridiculous fighting the Barretts, Becks, Meehans, Holyfields etc.

However, I think this problem will most likely be solved when Chagaev comes back, cause I think he´ll dethrone Valuev once again.

I don´t really get the point of keeping the belt on Valuev and have him fight bums rather than the Klitschkos, unless it´s just out of Don King´s spite and Valuev´s fear of losing. A fight with either Klitschko would make HUGE money and probably leave King/Valuev better off financially than ten bum fights like Valuev is used to fighting.
