are we really going to compare a Wlad from almost a decade ago? i mean lets take a look at a list of fighers who beat holyfield (i dont really want to but for arguments sake... if we go based on yoru logic) 1) john ruiz 2001 (Wlad's idol) 2) chris byrd 2002 (Wlad victem) 3) james toney 2003 (burgerking victem) 4) Larry donald 2004 (vitaly victem) list goes on, i know those loses weren't prime holyfield... but what is prime holyfield? Would you consider the holyfield that lost to Michael Moorer a prime holyfield? Wlad has his loses, and he will likely lose again but he has the ability to execute a winning strategy 6+ times out of 10 vs holyfield imho.
Yup, youre exactly right. ESB needed posters like you thanks for joining! You will fit right in here :good
yeah till the match gets made then all you *** haters will start blubbering for holyfields heath and and why the **** quitcho gots to jab so much he'd never jab agianst any of the great ones lmmforaromlafao .. lewis was tapping that ass till he made them quit ROFLA round 7 tko
Lets look at some of Holyfield's losses and close fights - dominated by Chris Byrd, who was destroyed twice by Wlad and dominated by one armed Vitali - dominated by Larry Donald, who was annihilated by Vitali (was the only man to knockdown and KO Donald) - dominated by Sultan Ibragimov, who was dominated by Wlad - KTFO by James Toney, who lost twice to Sam Peter, who was destroyed and ruined by the Klitschkos - drew and lost to John Ruiz, who lost to 3 Wlad victims (Haye, Chagaev, Nicholson) - lost twice to Lennox Lewis, who was dominated and retired by Vitali - lost twice to Riddick Bowe, who was destroyed twice by Andrew Golota, who was KTFO by 4 Klitschko victims (Adamek, Brewster, Austin, Lewis) - went life and death with Vaughn Bean, who was destroyed by Vitali (was the only man to KO Bean) - went life and death with Ray Mercer, who was annihilated by Wlad (was the first man to knockdown and KO Mercer) Wlad >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Holyfield Vitali >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Holyfield Either Klitschko destroys any version of Holyfield.
Holyfield of just 6 years ago would be more competitive than Wlad's last 4 opponents. Holyfield would at least know what to do it's just a matter of whether he can actually do it. A prime Holyfield fixes Wlad up good.
Holyfield was never a huge puncher, certainly not a one-shot wonder. He always relied on combinations. Holyfields only bet vs. Wlad would be Wlad gassing himself out on Holyfield's good chin and then unleashing some up-close combos on Wlad's chin. If Wlad's stamina holds up then Holyfield is without much of a chance. He'll be routinely jabbed and grabbed and he won't know what to do.
One dimensional Wlad would have no answer against a technician like prime Holyfield. He'd be gassed out from the workrate and tko'd mid rounds.
you want to talk about styles make fights, Holyfield is a nightmare for Wlad. Holyfield is one of the most complete fighters ever. He can fight agressively, box, side to side, up and down, over and under, front to back, it's a goddamn disaster for Wlad. Wlad on the other hand has to have it his way the whole time. Nothing can go wrong, or it REALLY goes wrong. Holyfield by KO any round he wants after the 3rd round, after he figures out what Wlad brings to the table. Wladimir never had to deal with a mother****er like Holyfield. He gets hit with one right hand from a slow, plodding Wach and covers up on the ropes in a position you'll never see him in voluntarily ever. Sure Wlad can frustrate Holyfield with his bear hug tactics, but Holyfield's will and skill is too strong. If it even makes it to the late rounds, while Wlad is gassing, Holyfield is just getting started. It won't take many hard shots from Holyfield to put Wlad down.
My post must have struck a nerve. Either Klitschko destroys any version of Holyfield. This content is protected
holyfield back in the day would of beat him, but now? not a chance. holyfield should have retired a long time ago. he'd get really hurt if it happened now.
