Im reading this Polish article, and they are interviewing Evander. He says basically that if he gets past Ibragimov, he would like to fight Andrew Golota! Also in the interviw Holyfield says he will get past Ibragimov with ease. By the looks of things, Holyfield is very confidents on beating Ibragimov. Also says other things like that hes not intimidated by fighting in Russia. Holyfield v Golota. What a fight this might be eh? Two fighters that are well known for their fights with Riddick Bowe, might square off in the future?
I think Holyfield would win a fairly sloppy UD - either way it would be filled with head butts and low blows :hey
Like I said, its in Polish. Id PM you it if you can read the language. I don't post links anymnore, I get PM's from the owner that I cant post copyright material or some ****.
If true, Holyfield is way out of line naming his next opponent. He has all he can handle in Ibragimov and frankly will be lucky if he can escape a brutal beating in Moscow.
Holyfield knows Golota has a huge name which means big money fight. Plus Golota beat the crap of Bowe who beat Holy twice. Holyman's way of getting indirect revenge and correct old wrongs. Too bad Golota would end up beating Holyfield half to death. :hat
Not necessarily, but who would want to see it? Oh wait, legions of people who still think it's 1996 and deluded Poles who think Golota can still fight. But seriously, Holyfield isn't winning against Sultan, so why even speculate on such drivel.
I like and respect Holyfiled but I don't know if he's going to be able to get past Sultan. It's going to be interesting.
A realist who realizes that Holyfield has been completely shot for about 5 years, and pretty much washed up since his second fight with Lewis.
