Tyson could suprise all and KO Holyfield with big punch early, but I doubt it. Atleast fight will be entertaining while it last.

as bad as Tyson is today he still has a chance of an early KO with the currentl version of Holy.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

I don't care about either guy really - respect for their accomplishments sure, but I'm not one of these nuthuggers who's going to worry about their health and legacy when they've consistently made poor decisions in those areas time and again - let the circus freaks do their thing. :good

    Why?

What would beating up on tyson prove?

joke fight right now. but to say tyson's got no shot as LL and posters have said is ridiculous. altho holy has looked fit and capable of bringing powerful shots, his reflexes are eroded and he can't quickly pull the trigger a lot of times. it's now been three more years, but i don't think that's been the case in any of the recent tyson fights. the bottom line is altho holy's in better overall shape (and better shape than most guys 1/2 his age), tyson's probably got more ability left.

I don't see how beating a guy who hasn't fought in 3 years and is unranked will lead Evander to at title shot. At this point Evander only has trouble with movers, like Ibragimov. So if Mike could chnge his always coming forward style then perhaps it could be interesting with his handspeed and power. But that is probably impossible...

    Guys,

Everyone here seems to think that Holyfield will KILL Tyson.

I'm having a hard time imagining the guy that was basically knocked out by JAMES TONEY being able to take Tyson's power shots, even now.

For me, it would be interesting, but there is no way in hell I'm paying 50.00 bucks to see it.

On the other hand, how's the guy that got knocked out by Danny Williams and couldn't even outlast Kevin McBride going to do?

Neither guy is exactly in sparkling form. But Holyfield isn't rusty or out-of-shape, two things that Tyson is.

Whoever wins Tyson vs. Holyfield IV would be recognized as the TRUE Heavyweight Champion of the world.

This fight MUST happen. I'll gladly shell out $49.95 to see these two warriors battle again!

I will watch it, I have already heard people on the street starting to talk about this fight, the guy at the blockbuster video, seen me looking in the ufc/boxing section and said something about how great the Holyfield/Tyson fights going to be, I was shocked that word got out so quick.

I really dont see the harm in this fight, the Heavyweight division cant get much worse, at least let these two legends slug it out and make some money, this fight will at least generate alot of mainstream fans, and some diehard ones as well. If Tyson does by some crazy chance win, he will get a title shot, the division dying for a name that sells like Tyson's.

should've been done years ago but I say get it done as quick as possible.i don't want talks of this fight to be happening 5 years from now. yeah it'll be a shitty fight but people would tune in to watch. better for the sport we like.

LOL; put this in perspectives of their primes: This match-up would be like George Foreman (Foreman like Holyfield peaking some 14 years before 1988) fighting Muhammed Ali (Ali peaking like Tyson some 21 years before the date) in 1988....

Is boxing really that bad now a days, that we are talking about such a silly match-up?
