90s Holyfield sparks out just about everyone of today's HWs, excluding those SHWs who are just too big for a blown up Cruiser, but give him another 2-4 inches and he blows them out too. :smoke

Wilder is in much better shape than Bowe.
Bowe was a biscuit and gravy eating fool whose mother kept feeding him the worst stuff a boxer could possibly eat.
**** Gregory had him on a good diet but Bowe hated him for it and eventually ran him out of camp.
In 1-2 more fights, I have Wilder beating any version of Bowe.

Bowe's looping overhand right was tailor made for KO'ing big cumbersome SHWs like Vlad and Fury though.

Breidis might just manage to clean house on the super heavies and he isn't a pimple on prime Holy's frequently-injected black ass. :yep

Holyfield was a modern Cruiserweight (he was Undisputed at 190, so 200 would have kept him in)

Wilder sparks any ATG from the past, mainly because they were physically smaller & slower! I would not want to see an older Ali or Holyfield get harmed by Hyper speed punches thrown by a bigger man

At this stage in Wilder's career he his too open to face any of the past ATGs. He gets hit too much and if he got hit clean by Foreman, Tyson or Shavers, it's Good night Irene.
Prime Ali would be too too fast and slick for Wilder. :yep

Lewis was the man of the era. Holyfield fought Tyson in the Lewis ruled era.

Wilder is 6'8" faster than anybody in the list. Do you really want to see an out of range Ali letting Wilder hit him on the ropes

Foreman is a bully that got exposed by Ali/Young, he can hurt Frazier/Tyson because of his upper cuts & their uppercut vulnerable style

Shavers is no longer big/bad in this era

No Heavyweight is as fast Deontay Wilder, he is a 6'8" scaled-up Panama Al :think

Na man Wilder has a long ways to go. Has great power, about it. It's the only thing from losing against journeymen and even then, he still struggles. Doesn't happen to Ggg. Big difference.

Wilder's lack of quality jab, footwork and positioning may be his downfall, we will see.

Wilder has a very good jab. When SRL compliments your jab, you know you're on the right path. Breland obviously did a ton of work in perfecting Wilder's jab.

Where Wilder needs improvement is his footwork and balance. When he gets this together he will be an unstoppable force. :yep

He has a relatively good jab, I agree it has improved. However, it is still far away from top quality heavyweight jabs.

I was expecting him to make a light work of Szpilka, but after hearing what happened, I had to watch the fight and his jab isn't really what it should be for a boxer of his size. Also, he still has problems with movement and doesn't have very good foot movement of his own.

I'd make him a slight favorite over Povetkin but surely wouldn't favor him against the top 2 guys at this point.

Man, I was super surprised how effective Shields was in training Szpilka, and how quickly Szpilka picked up on what Shields taught him in movement.
I'm sure Wilder was equally as surprised because Szpilka didn't look anything like the tapes Wilder had probably reviewed.
Szpilka's movement caused Wilder problems and why his jab wasn't as effective as usual.

With his improved style, I can't wait to see Szpilka in with another contender to see how he does. I'm guessing he will cause problems for anyone of the top contenders. :yep
