Holyfield is the Barry Bonds of boxing. WTF do you like him as a Tyson fan? That ******* headbutted Tyson every 10 seconds.

Only a true Tyson fan with pure hatred of Holyfield would want him to continue to box.

    Just kidding.

I like the guy though. He keeps goin and goin and goin.......

  5. Sorry i don't see it happening! Holy will have to KO THE Russian, Sultan or dominate! to get the win in Russia, Holy dosen't have the power to do EITHER, the Russian will win by late stoppage or most likely KO.:deal JUST FACE IT the Soviet Bloc fighters are gonna rule the Heavyweight's for many years to come...

Tyson is a good friend of Sultan . Tyson tried to be in his corner for the Briggs fight, but was facing legal troubles and couldnt leave the state. I bet Tyson is really going to like the beating HGHfield is going to recieve.

If that is true the UFC will surely take over. The Heavywieght division is on life support, the only fighters people even know anymore that are any good are Wlad, Peter, and Holyfield. Holyfield is the heavywieght people are actually willing to PPV money to see anymore, if he loses and retires, heavywieght boxing loses more fans.

This is exactly why I think Holyfield - even today's Holyfield - has a very good shot of not just beating him, but knocking him the f*ck out. Ibragimov just isn't as good as many people think he is, as far as I can see.

Glad the Taylor - Pavlik fight is over....I can go back to agreeing with you now....

Sultan is a slightly above average boxer.....has pretty good skills and ok power. BUT HE IS NOTHING SPECIAL!!!

Before this fight was even made, some maniac made a post saying Sultan would beat a PRIME Evander (YES...it was right after the Briggs fight :nut ). I stated that he would struggle against even THIS version of Evander.

    We shall soon see....

I think Ibragimov is underrated for drawing with Austin, a fight in which he did not fight like he usually fights but still had Austin hurt early and IMO deserved a win over Austin instead of a draw while Holyfield is getting a pass on losing to Byrd, Donald, Toney and looking like shiite against Oquendo.

  13. Wlad and Sam Peter are the 2 best heavy's no doubt, and the UFC is really gaining popularity here in the states, especially here where i live in Vegas, i don't know where you are from but UFC is hot right now..

But if Holy loses this fight he will and should retire for good!!:yep

Yeah its popular with guys in there 20s like myself, the reason why boxings starting to lose to the UFC in ratings is because the Heart of the division, which is heavywieght boxing is suffering. Between fights not being made and unrecognizable stars, the heavywieght division is dying out. Holyfield even at 44 is one of the few stars left and if he goes so does alot of fans, niether Wlad or Peter can generate PPV dollars unless they fight each other.

you got a point ibragimov might be underated a bit. however, holy looked ok versus oquendo whom is awkward for any hw and imo looked a lot healthier/stronger since the fights you mention although against lesser comp. just saw the savarese fight and holy looked like a legit contender with good power, stamina, and reflexes for any aged heavyweight.
