this is a pretty good analysis but on another note...you know my ***** floyd is a beast b/c you have to look back 13yrs ago when he was an amateur to find some kind of formula to beat him. DAMN!

Good observation/analysis. But i would have to disagree...this wont be a one sided victory for Pac. It would be close or a KO in the late rounds for Pac.

The only place I'd disagree is his opinion that Manny can keep up an extreme pace without wearing himself out. He does have to take breaks sometimes now at 147, which you almost never saw him do below 140.

Evander's my man -- I love him as a fighter -- but I had to play the "Evan Fields" card. :rofl

  8. Fairly vague Holyfield but thanks anyway. And Floyd wasn't even getting beat in the olympics, I have that fight and he was a clear winner.

    Floyd had his pajamas on.

I think because welterweights are bigger and can take more punishment Pac steps off the gas from time to time to conserve energy because he can't finish them off as quickly. Pac did the same sort of thing versus Oscar Larios when he couldn't put him away.

Pac will get stopped in his tracks if he tries to go ratatat with Floyd.

It will be difficult for Floyd to do it since he doesn't throw punches in bunches. The most probable thing for Floyd to do is hide in his shell or duck and move away. If Floyd throws punches, Pac will just be too happy to trade with him. Let us see who will get stop in his track.

It only takes one punch to keep make Pac pause. You underestimate Floyd's ability to pick the right punch to throw, even if it is only one punch at a time.

... Pac may have changed that for the Cotto fight though. He took punches well in that one. Roach knew that psychological edge would ultimately break Cotto down so they trained to take punches.

Holy's great but I don't think he knows anything other than plain language.

The only kink to that argument's armor is Floyd will catch Pac on the way in with relative ease

Pernell never got hit? Uncle Roger almost had him out of there. Hurtado knocked him down 5 times in their fight.
