How big of a factor does this play?
Not just talking about referees and judges but the fans, time zones and familiar environments.

    Hughie Fury nearly beat Parker.

Parker beat Ruiz (I thought Ruiz just edged it).

    Joshua beat Parker.

    Ruiz beat Joshua.

I know styles make fights and it’s all on the night but how big of a factor does this play?

I think it definitely does play a part and shows how good fighters like Fury who can win and perform well abroad are.

Fury has done absolutely brilliantly to go abroad and show the performances he has, it takes unbelievable mental courage and he has to be credited for that.

Not a large enough part to result in 4 knock's downs that's for sure.

It is a significant and underrated factor and that's why Usyk should get so much praise, because he beat many quality fighters in their home countries.
