Hi I just started boxing at home on the bag but I want to know can someone give me some training schedules I'm an armature.
To start off, you only need a skipping rope and proper gloves. Skip for 15-20 minutes, take a 1 min break then hit the bag in 3 minute rounds with minute break between them. Obviously work on form and movement.
Hitting a bag at home is not boxing. If you're doing this for fitness then just hit the bag, do some skipping rope, pushups, squats, pullups etc etc. Just do something, it really doen't matter what. If your goal is to box then get to a gym ASAP.
3rds shadowboxing 3rds heavy bag 3rds double end bag 3rds speed bag Heavy bag work and shadowboxing should be done continuously with 1 minute rest between each exercise. If you ever plan on competing then you HAVE to spar with other BOXERS. Not just random people. When I started out I was lucky enough to have a friend who spent half his time in Texas and half his time where I live and while he was in Texas he would train religiously at his Dad's gym, anyway I got sparring experience with him for a while before he moved permanently due to legal issues. Sparring is the single most important exercise for boxing. It puts everything together that you work on outside of the ring. If you ever want to get halfway decent you have to spar. No substitution for it.
lots of people start their boxing journey at home. there's a lot of steps between the desire to learn boxing and stepping into your first match. Ideally sit in and watch a class at a couple of gyms. observe how the trainers, athletes, boxers all work together. it's different watching it than being in it. then take classes and experience it. don't just settle for the first gym you find. if you don't have a gym, grab a friend and learn together. it's still a work in progress but here's the Lessons page from a website I'm developing for people who want to learn boxing but don't have a gym/coach near them. http://boxingscienceacademy.com/Lessons
