some one tried to tell me he lost the fight yo sipos aswel , i thought it was close as i was in the point that night but was a good bit back so didnt have a great view , when i went home it was clear andy well won the fight but he took some big r=shots , he need to sort his defence out and when he gos in for the kill he has the punch power that is for certain but he seems to be cautious in his approach since he lost to vera and waiting for the last copuple of rounds to go for th ko
I saw it on Sky and he still needs a lot of working on that style the guy was hitting him to much and to flush. He won the fight no doubt but looked bad in doing so. He had a few flashes of showing he had improved but i put that down to the class of fighter.
Is Duddy not dropping down a weight? It would be a great for the UK AND Irish fans to have this with the winner getting a world title fight at the end of it. I think it would be a little bit too hard to do it. With Duddy and Lee in the US would you think they would want to leave the US for a couple of fights which could take give or take 2 years to do and loose the fanbase in the US?
Lee has a huge hole in his defence. If you're fighting a six rounder with Olegs Fedotovs or a ten rounder with Alexander Sipos you might survive taking that many shots. Put him in with Macklin for however many rounds you want, he would be unlikely to make it past 5. With all due respect to Vera and Gibbs, Lee has never been in with a huge puncher and he has still looked unconvincing. Haven't seen Barker fight before so I can't comment, but IMO Macklin stops Lee.
