I am really hoping for a barnburner, but have this nagging fear of a shoeshine slappage/unconnected series of punches with the other guy on the ropes stoppage a la Manfredo. So what are the odds of a bad hometown stoppage in the upcoming JC v. Kessler bout? I say pretty high.

Normally I would agree considering the fight is in England, but this time Mickey Vann is not the ref. who is notorious for his "refereeing". There are 3 major belts on the line and its an American referee named, so of all of Calzaghe's fights this would appear to be the most fair.

Is that so? That actually makes me feel much better.
