    yes even for a title fight it depends on where you fight but the nevada athletic state commission said 1+ pound extra is ok.

    You are. The commission ****ed up. Should be no pound allowance in title fights.

    no, you have to be right on 145. this was on another mma forum.

    Hominick was actually announced as 145.25 pounds, but the Ontatio Athletic Commission ultimately decided the challenger was actually on weight. An OAC official initially told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that Hominick was allowed to compete in a title fight, which does no factor in the customary one-pound allowance, because he was still wearing his fight shorts at just one-quarter pound over the contracted weight, and the house music was rattling the scale.

    yeah. if you watched the weigh-ins live they had to keep turning the music down because it was messing with the scales.
