Filipino's finally catching on, on the truth about "honest" Bob Arum! :bbb:deal http://philboxing.com/news/story-101549.html
For as long as I've been here, most *******s hang on every sentence, statement, and word that Honest Bob makes when it comes about Manny Pacquiao and his fights. *******s still say that JMM rejected a Pacquiao rematch to fight Chris John because Bob Arum painted it that way.
You're right. But they are merely fanboys and trolls. Seldom do they have a respectable grasp or scope of the sport or its history.
I think most Pinoy fans out of the Phillipines who only started to get interested in boxing because of Manny Pacquiao are only now finding out about Bob Arum's true colors. How can someone not feel cheated when you give someone **** and tell them its cake?
Poorly written article... "There were two overriding sentiment:s: 1) The American challenger Chris Algieri was not in Pacquiaos level; 2) The bout was a certified mismatch." That is one sentiment, expressed two ways.
Most ariticles from that website are poorly written. Does'nt take from the fact that the content of that article is true. If you've only been a boxing fan just a few years, you're probably not caught on to Arum's shenanigans. If you're been a fan since say Pacquiao first beat MAB, then you might be catching on to how shady promoters like Arum operate.
it's a mismatch but didn't noticed much discussion before the fight blatantly calling it a mismatch. even jesus felt algieri gonna beat pacquiao i think the odds was 8-1
who the heck is that garcia dude anyways.....hes nobody and that doesnt mean everyone in the philippines have the same opinion.
Funny thing about this is that I was at the Filipino side of the family's house when I watched the fight, and they were all scared to death for Pacquiao And after he beat Algieri, they felt like he just proved he'd beat Mayweather... Because Mayweather = Algieri as every Filipino knows... Mayweather also = Brandon Rios, Tim Bradley, Antonio Margarito, Joshua Clottey, etc...
Dont know where I read an article, but 40+ credentialed boxing writers were asked to predict and none picked Algieri. Freddie Roach was laughing about Algieri the day before the fight, even going as far as saying Algieri had zero chance.
