It's "What the people thought" vs REALITY I'm sure no truly unbiased boxing fan gave Algieri a chance to win, but we've been around the block enough times to know not to count someone out completely, or even to count out the possibility of the opponent looking good if not necessarily winning... Maidana, who's a lot more proven on the world stage than Algieri, was expected to be a cake walk for Floyd, and we all know what happened there. Even Pac... The third Marquez fight was seen as a lost cause... Pac was just gonna finish off an old, undersized Marquez as more of a publicity stunt than anything... That was Marquez's fight So here comes Chris Algieri... He has done nothing to convince us that he could win, but he does appear as a change of pace for what he's been facing... Clearly skillful, clearly disciplined, tall, longer arms... Yeah, he might surprise a lot of people, or so we, as experienced boxing fans that learned never to count anyone out thought
So he survived in survival mode, does'nt take from the fact the premise of my prediction was on point.
All that proves is that they didn't have a clue what they were talking about, Algieri had no chance and lots of people said that beforehand, it was a **** fight when it was made and in retrospect it's still a **** fight after it happened.
lol take no offense. i also predicted a pac victory via stoppage but that tough italian-argentinian algieri proved me wrong
LOL! Iceberg Arum. Some Pac fans are still in denial. They don't want to hear anything bad about Arum.
It's the loyalty to Pacquiao and anyone he's associated with. They defended Ariza when he was in the camp, now that he's out they talk so bad about him.
I can understand their devotion to Pac. He gives the whole country something to be proud of. But Arum? I guess if you believe that Arum isn't completely honest then you can't put the complete blame on Mayweather for the big fight not happening and the Pac fans are holding on to that notion for dear life.
just like Ariza is a PED's supplier thru Ariza shakes and a just a Masseuse in Floyd's camp ....from a Flowmo's point of view that is :rofl
And those guys are idiots. But you're doing the typical "*******" deflection. You've got guilt all over your post.
Suspicion started when Manny denied the test. Ariza was with pac prior to that & there were no claims of Ariza being a ped supplier. Also, Roach made it worse by claiming Ariza put something in those shakes.
