truth is he was always a cruel brawler with no jab,no footwork and only looked good against come foward brawlers..he was never a pure boxer and never did well against them..if you stand and trade with him most likely you'll end up on your back..but if you box him it negates his power and shane doesnt have the boxing iq to adjust

tis true...dont listen to these knuckleheads on here...shane is a bit old, but he has always had problems with elusiveness.

-Floyd is so elusive that he gasses Mosley instantly
-Mosley put al his power into the 2nd round

    But he isn't old...

Mosley has never been a high IQ type of fighter, but he has had just enough skill to go along with his vast speed, quickness, and athleticism to compensate.

He's 40 now and he's regressed in every dept.

The most important thing that I point too is Mosley's timing......its just terrible. Well below that of an average contender.

Timing is one of JMM's strongsuits.....which is why he was so succesful in repeatedly finding Pacquiao's face with his fists.

Fighters like DLH and Cotto had a hard time catching Pacquiao clean, and they have much better timing skills than Mosley.

Mosley could'nt even find the limited Mayorga who was giving him feints and angles for God's sake.....I shutter to think what Mosley will look like vs Pacquiao who in's ans outs and has fast footwork.......:-(

Mosley was asked if he gassed, and he said no...he made up some crap about his neck being stiff or something, so stop making excuses for the man.

When he was at his peak he was faster than everyone else, now there are nearly 10 guys between 140-154 that are either faster or just as fast, 10 yrs ago, it would be hard to name 1, Mosley is very much over the hill.

Well he did gas, and his neck probably was stiff, Mayweather stood right in-front of him and threw hard shot after shot, for rounds 3-12.

i agree look at his fights against winky wright and vernon forrest, all outboxed him and made him look ugly. I always found that mosley sometimes had trouble pulling the trigger, i think if things dont go his way he doesnt throw many punches

I can honestly say the guy in Shane you just described was the guy I saw in 1994 but it didn't matter than because he had so so much speed and power. But, I think you grossly underestimate his ring savvy and werewithall. He survived a lot of heat from a lot of fighters not just because of his chin but because he has more defensive foundation than any era of fighters that came after him. Shane survives on the Sweet Science it's just that he no longer thrives on it. I still think he's got at least 2 massive performances left in him and I really do believe the Pac fight will be one. After his last 2 outings, staying busy and being in the gym, I really think you are completely underestimating this guy and kickin him to the curb! Do what you may however, I've said it once and I'll say it again." THERE'S NO WAY MANNY IS GETTING OUT OF THIS FIGHT WITHOUT TASTING THE CANVAS! WIN OR LOSE!!!!!!

if floyd was offensive minded he couldve really hurt shane....manny wont give him room to breath and not a second to rest..he will stop shane and shane fae will be brutalized

or maybe he felt some of those stinging shots at the end of round 2...watch the fight again, towards the end of round 2 mayweather was dominating and landed shots that clearly bothered mosley...he gassed, his neck...yadda yadda, he got the shyt beat of of him for 10 rounds by a better fighter

A shot fighter is one who cant pull the trigger.

Thats Mosley right now. He is all jittery and wears himself out just thinking about throwing a pucnh.
