Usyk took over best case scenario for Fury he loses due to the kd but its more likely a 116-111, 115-112 type fight that should have been stopped anyway.
Fury did very well for a few rounds in the middle but Usyks versatility and conditioning allows him to take over toeards the end.

Even both AJ fights you could argue its somewhat close after 8/9 rounds but then Usyk pulls away.

Fury tried holding Usyk, looked how that panned out. I think Usyk is more than capable of avoiding the clinch.

I believe mobility would be key here. Usyk has faced punchers before without too much issue and also has the benefit of being a southpaw.
I believe he is referring to the rounds the poster marked for Fury as only won, as opposed to clearly won like he had for several of Usyks. I don't think it's really up for debate that Fury clearly won rounds 4-6 (the early "mid" rounds) presumably 7-9 are being considered late mid rounds.

I wouldn't exactly call Fury an incredible elite fighter that label is for fighters like Ali, Holmes, Lewis, etc.

Fury is talented but extremely flawed and arguably could have 3 losses on his record not to mention being floored 8 times and half of those KD's were not against top 10 Heavyweights.

    Rd 1 10-9 Usyk
    Rd 2 10-9 Usyk
Rd 3 10-9 Usyk < Very close round Usyk's defense is amazing.
Rd 4 10-9 Usyk < Again very close round, but to me Usyk stole this one, Tyson is clowning around way too much.
Rd 5 10-9 Fury < Pretty good round for Fury, but started way too late to get serious with Usyk.
Rd 6 10-9 Fury < His best round, he really hurt Usyk here.
    Rd 7 10-10 Draw < Interesting round.
Rd 8 10-9 Usyk < He figured Tyson out imo, this round was key for Usyk.
Rd 9 10-8 Usyk < The same combo hurt Fury here, got slapped all around the ring, Usyk's footwork is unbelievable, fury saved by the ref.
Rd 10 10-9 Usyk < Usyk is toying with Tyson even mocking him a bit.
Rd 11 10-9 Usyk < Fury just can't figure Usyk out like Usyk did in Rd 8.
Rd 12 10-9 Usyk < Not a bad round for Fury, still not enough.

    118 - 111 Winner: Usyk

It was a competitive fight but Usyk is just too good, Fury was not bad at all but he joked around way too much.
Fury lost this fight for all the wrong reasons, underestimating Usyk, clowning around, very bad corner advice (john and the other guy).
No adjustments/no answer, he didn't adapt like Usyk did when he got hurt,
instead he opted for dirty tactics, low blowing, trying to hold and grab, leaning, rabid punches (Usyk ain't no Wilder, doesn't work at all.)
He really couldn't figure Usyk out because he joked around too much early in the fight.

Fury can win the rematch if he comes out like he did in the Wilder II fight.
I was really upset with this match because i am a big fan of Tyson Fury, couldn't believe how bad usyk made him look.
Always loved the guy and will continue to support him, but right now Usyk is the man.

And the build up to this fight, John Fury did bring all the negative bull**** in Tyson's camp (headbutting a young kid)
It's really embarassing, also during the fight talking over Sugar Hill, telling Tyson all kinds of bull**** tactics.
Laughing because of the headbutt in round 4, god i hate John Fury.

Usyk also practices wrestling as part of his training. He knows how to escape being held.

Punch stats for Fury vs Usyk 1

    Total punches landed

    Round 1 – Fury 9 | Usyk 8
    Round 2 – Fury 13 | Usyk 15
    Round 3 – Fury 15 | Usyk 12
    Round 4 – Fury 16 | Usyk 13
    Round 5 – Fury 22 | Usyk 12
    Round 6 – Fury 20 | Usyk 10
    Round 7 – Fury 12 | Usyk 13
    Round 8 – Fury 8 | Usyk 16
    Round 9 – Fury 16 | Usyk 24
    Round 10 – Fury 4 | Usyk 16
    Round 11 – Fury 12 | Usyk 13
    Round 12 – Fury 10 | Usyk 18

    Fury total – 157 | Usyk total – 170

Fury was ahead on punches landed going into round 10. 5 out of the first 6 rounds Fury out landed Usyk. Anyone without any prior disposition or financial incentive knows this was an extremely close contest with 2-3 swing rounds and the punch stats reflect that.

You scored it 118-111 to Usyk which I think is some pretty wild scoring. You only gave Fury 3 rounds?

Imo there is more then only punches landed, Tyson really had no defense, bad footwork, he looked terrible.
Keeps getting tagged with big clean punches, fighting on the back foot, joking around, no adjustments.
Usyk on the other hand showed great defense, ring generalship, amazing footwork, even out wrestled the big man.

Round 5 and especially Round 6 , Those are the rounds Fury gave Usyk some big problems.
That was the fury i know, sadly it was the only time fury did everything right.
Usyk stepped back, regrouped and adjusted his game plan beautifully, while fury did none of that during the whole fight.

Now i agree it was a pretty close contest, but fury was simply not good enough.
He came up little bit short in all those rounds, wich is so sad, because we all know how good fury can be.

Let's hope for a better tyson fury in the rematch, if there is one who can beat usyk, it's him.

I also had Usyk by a single point. It really was close, Usyk said Fury was his toughest fight, and that he was hurt in the fight, praying to God in the ring.

Fury's knockdowns against Top 10 opponents were 4 against Wilder and 1 against Usyk = 5.

Fury's knockdowns against less than Top 10 opponents were against Pajkic, Cunningham and Ngannou = 3.

I agree there is more to a boxing contest than only punches being landed. The compubox stats showed Usyk landing a lot more power shots than Fury which I find strange because the only time Fury seemed to be affected by Usyk’s shots was in round 9.

I thought Fury showed great ring generalship in the first 7 rounds, fighting on the back foot, making Usyk miss and making him pay. I gave 7 rounds to Fury, 6 out of the first 7 rounds I thought Fury won and round 11 or 12 I can’t recall I’ll have to rewatch it.

I think one could argue that Fury won the first 7 rounds and one of the championship rounds.

I’m expecting Fury to do a number on Usyk in the rematch, a wide decision or a mid to late rounds stoppage.
