2 ranked opponents have knocked down Fury 5 times 3 unranked opponents have knocked down Fury 3 times hence more unranked opponents have knockdowns against Fury than ranked ones 3 to 2. And Fury was actually knocked down twice vs Ngannou but the other knockdown wasn't called.
It was still a legit knockdown whether the referee called it or not and that made a huge difference because Ngannou would've won a decision.
Under no circumstance should anyone watch that fight and give Usyk 0 of the first 3 rounds. That is bad scoring, sorry.
It cannot be fine because of the KD I had 114-113. A draw, and because of the KD Usyk won. The fight was as close as it can be.
Statistics can be slanted all manner of different ways in an attempt to emphasize a point but you can't add in things that don't officially count. Bottom line of course is though, Fury was able to continue after each and every one of those knockdowns and only lost one of the fights, the Usyk one.
Bottom line is Fury beat an MMA fighter by 1 point and was very fortunate to not have 2 knockdowns called against him in which would've been the most embarrassing loss in boxing history in regards to big fights. But you can sweep that under the carpet and big up about Fury getting up from knockdowns if you want whatever makes you feel better. I'm sure getting up against Pajkic 4 stoppages, MMA fighter Ngannou, Cruiserweight Cunningham, is some amazing achievement in your eyes.
It was a legitimate knockdown according to the rules Fury got hit twice cleanly and went down the referee made a mistake and didn't call it.
